Public Improvements definition

Public Improvements means only the following improvements: housing facilities; garbage disposal plants; rubbish disposal plants; incinerators; transportation systems, including plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with those systems; sewage disposal systems, including sanitary sewers, combined sanitary and storm sewers, plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with the collection, treatment, or disposal of sewage or industrial wastes; storm water systems, including storm sewers, plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with the collection, treatment, or disposal of storm water; water supply systems, including plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with obtaining a water supply, the treatment of water, or the distribution of water; utility systems for supplying light, heat, or power, including plants, works, instrumentalities, and properties used or useful in connection with those systems; approved cable television systems, approved cable communication systems, or telephone systems, including plants, works,
Public Improvements means the infrastructure improvements in connection with the Project that will ultimately be dedicated for public service, including, without limitation:
Public Improvements shall include all Improvements intended to be publicly owned and maintained, as defined by the Standards and Specifications.

  • The District previously provided verification and certification of certain Public Improvements in the amount of $3,748,871.

  • If it is determined as a result of such audit that Developer has overcharged for the cost of the Public Improvements, then such overcharges shall be immediately returned to the TIRZ fund and become due and payable with interest at the maximum legal rate under applicable law from the date the City paid such overcharges.

More Definitions of Public Improvements

Public Improvements means any improvements as defined in Code of Iowa Section 384.95, including but not limited to paving, sidewalks, grass, vegetation, trees, street lights, traffic signals, water mains, sewers, electric transmission lines and equipment related thereto, and in addition public utilities, on Public Property.
Public Improvements means, without limitation, the construction, installation, improvement and dedication of public improvements, including, but not limited to public thoroughfares and streets, sanitary sewer facilities, water line facilities, drainage facilities in the public right of way, irrigation structures, if any, that are not exclusively for the benefit of the Development, right-of-way landscaping and irrigation structures, street lighting and signage, and other public facilities and improvements to serve the Development. The Public Improvements include, but are not limited to, the improvements listed on Exhibit B-3, in whatever form they are referenced, that will be dedicated to the Town and the improvements listed on Exhibit C.
Public Improvements means improvements on the Project Site that provide a public benefit, including but not limited to utilities, streets, street lights, water and sewer facilities, curb cuts, sidewalks, walkways, parks, dog parks, public art, water features, low impact development, flood and drainage facilities, parking facilities, demolition work, fencing and landscaping paid for in whole or in part from public funds, without regard to location in or outside of the public right of way, and the categories of work included in the definition of Project in this Agreement.
