Occupancy Certificate definition

Occupancy Certificate means the occupancy certificate, or such other certificate by whatever name called, issued by the competent authority permitting occupation of any building, as provided under local laws, which has provision for civic infrastructure such as water, sanitation and electricity;
Occupancy Certificate means the Certificate that the Local Authority issues confirming that the Unit has been completed according to the building plan;

Examples of Occupancy Certificate in a sentence

  • During this time the Allottee will not be entitled to use the Unit till Completion/ Occupancy Certificate is received and Deed of Conveyance is executed.

More Definitions of Occupancy Certificate

Occupancy Certificate means the occupancy certificate issued by the Puducherry Planning Authority in accordance with the Puducherry Building Bye-Laws and Zoning Regulations, 2012 and as amended from time to time.
