Information Technology definition

Information Technology means computer hardware, software and networks;
Information Technology. (see 40 U.S.C 11101(6)) means, in lieu of the definition at FAR 2.1, any equipment, or interconnected system(s) or subsystem(s) of equipment, that is used in the automatic acquisition, storage, analysis, evaluation, manipulation, management, movement, control, display, switching, interchange, transmission, or reception of data or information by the agency.
Information Technology means computer software (including all related source codes, specifications and data, data bases and documentation), computer firmware, computer hardware (in each case whether general or specific purpose) and other similar or related items of automated, computerized or software systems that are used or relied upon by any Person in the conduct of such Person's trade or business.

More Definitions of Information Technology

Information Technology and “Information Security” shall have the same meanings as the terms “information technology” and “information security”, respectively, in §24-37.5-102, C.R.S. Capitalized terms used herein and not otherwise defined herein or in the HIPAA Rules shall have the meanings ascribed to them in the Contract.
