Hourly Employees definition

Hourly Employees shall have the meaning set forth in Section 7.11(a) hereof.
Hourly Employees has the meaning specified in Section 3.27.
Hourly Employees are those who are working on jobs which may not continue as a regularly constituted position, have schedule variation, or work less than twenty (20) hours per week. Where an Hourly Employee works twenty (20) hours or more per week in a regularly constituted position with consistent hours of work and without schedule variation, the University may review the position to ascertain whether it can be established as a Staff position. The review shall consider operational requirements, equity, and any applicable customer service requirements.

Examples of Hourly Employees in a sentence

  • A regularly scheduled Hourly Employee who directs, coordinates and supervises the work of Hourly Employees under the direction of his/her supervisor within his/her particular unit or section.

  • However, he/she shall not have the authority to hire, suspend, dismiss or discipline Hourly Employees.

  • Effective January 1, 2004, the term “locations” used in the prior sentence shall be construed for the sole purpose of this paragraph to include like locations maintained by GE affiliates participating in the Job and Income Security Plan for Hourly Employees and the Job and Income Security Plan for Nonexempt Employees.

  • Annual Statements shall be provided to all Hourly Employees by the end of January in each Calendar Year.

  • Any complaint, disagreement, or difference of opinion between the Company and the Union or the Hourly Employees and Owner Operators covered by this Agreement which concerns the application or interpretation of the terms and provisions of this Agreement, shall be considered a grievance.
