De-identified data definition

De-identified data means information that has all Personally Identifiable Information, including direct and indirect identifiers removed or obscured, such that the remaining information does not reasonably identify an individual. This includes, but is not limited to, name, date of birth, demographic information, location information and school identity.
De-identified data means data that cannot reasonably be linked to an identified or identifiable
De-identified data means District Data from which all personally identifiable information, as defined herein, and attributes about such data, have been permanently removed so that no individual identification can be made.

Examples of De-identified data in a sentence

  • Provider's use of De-Identified Data shall survive termination of this DPA or any request by XXX to return or destroy Student Data.

  • Provider's use of De-Identified Data shall survive termination of this DPA or any request by LEA to return or destroy Student Data.

  • De-Identified Data may be used by the Provider for any lawful purpose, including, but not limited to, development, research, and improvement of educational sites, services, or applications, and to demonstrate the market effectiveness of the Services.

  • For the purposes of this agreement De-Identified Data will not be considered Personally Identifiable Information and, thus, shall not be deemed FERPA Data, as defined above, or COPPA Data, as defined below.

  • For the purposes of this agreement De-Identified Data will not be considered Confidential Information.


More Definitions of De-identified data

De-identified data means data originally derived from Customer data where personally identifiable information and other similar attributes about such data have been removed so that no individual identification can be made.
