Affordable Housing Unit definition

Affordable Housing Unit means a rental unit in an affordable housing building that rents for an amount that is affordable to households at or below 60% of area medianincome, as most recently determined by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development for the Minneapolis-St. Paul-Bloomington, Minnesota-Wisconsin Metropolitan Statistical Area, as adjusted for household size and number of bedrooms.
Affordable Housing Unit means a unit of housing that is affordable to individuals and families with annual incomes of one hundred percent (100%) or less of Area Median Income within Grand County as calculated by HUD.
Affordable Housing Unit means a residential dwelling unit, offered for sale or rent, as applicable, which is Affordable to those in the AMI ranges specified in the Affordable Housing Table.

Examples of Affordable Housing Unit in a sentence

  • The required tenant income levels for each For-Rent Owner Affordable Housing Unit in each applicable Residential Project shall be determined solely according to the requirements of Exhibit J to the Housing Program.

  • The Rental Rate for each For-Rent Owner Affordable Housing Unit shall be determined based upon Household Size for that Owner Affordable Housing Unit, and shall not exceed thirty percent (30% ) of sixty percent (60%) of AMI, as adjusted solely for household size as forth in California Code of Regulations (CCR), title 25, Section 6932, as amended from time to time, as of the first date of tenancy (“Maximum Annual Rent”).

  • The Owner shall not sell or otherwise dispose of its Interest in an Affordable Housing Unit except in accordance with the terms and conditions of this agreement.

  • The sales prices for each For-Sale Owner Affordable Housing Unit in each Residential Project shall be determined solely according to the requirements of Exhibit K to the Housing Program.

  • The Maximum Purchase Price of any For-Rent Owner Affordable Housing Unit that is vacant or whose tenant does not exercise the right of first refusal to purchase the unit will be set at 110% of AMI, as adjusted only for household size as set forth in California Code of Regulations (CCR), Title 25, Section 6932, as amended from time to time.


More Definitions of Affordable Housing Unit

Affordable Housing Unit means in respect of the units in the Project,
Affordable Housing Unit means each unit of Affordable Housing to be constructed on the property pursuant to the Planning Permission and which in total will comprise 6 (six) Affordable Rented Housing units and 7 (seven) Shared Ownership Housing units.
Affordable Housing Unit means a studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom or 3 bedroom Dwelling Unit on the Lands in respect of which the construction, tenure, rental and occupancy are restricted in accordance with sections b through e of this Agreement;
Affordable Housing Unit means a Dwelling Unit or Dwelling Units designated as such in accordance with a building permit and/otf development permit issued by the City and/or, if applicable, in accordance with any rezoning consideration applicable to the development on the Lands and includes, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Dwelling Unit charged by this Agreement;
Affordable Housing Unit means a dwelling unit that will be offered for rent or sale exclusively to, and which shall be affordable to, lower-income households as required by this ordinance.
Affordable Housing Unit means a housing unit developed by a multi-family project applicant pursuant to Section 9.64.050 or 9.64.060 of this Chapter which will be affordable to 30% income households, 50% income households, 80% income households, or moderate-income households.
Affordable Housing Unit means a dwelling unit approved pursuant to Article 3 Division 7 with a restricted rent or sale price and occupancy requirements as described in the Telluride Affordable Housing Guidelines, as amended.
