The Contractor undertakes to. 7.2.1 deliver the Product to the Client and provide Servicing in accordance with this Agreement.

The Contractor undertakes to o Comply with Eskom’s security and emergency regulations and procedures. o Ensure that staff presents themselves neatly dressed in uniform and exhibit suitable identification. o Carry out the work in an efficient and proper manner and immediately report to Eskom and difficulties in performing the work. o Provide all materials, labour, transport and equipment to carry out the services required. o Occupational Health and Safety Act no. 34-333, must be observed at all times. o After carrying out services, to leave are in a tidy, clean and hygienic condition. o Complete and submit to Eskom an inspection and service report for each site visited o Within 24 hours of learning that any equipment is found to be defective, to report the matter to Eskom and recommend action to be taken o All equipment found to be defective during inspection and testing shall be clearly marked or labelled with recommendation on repairs or replacement o The contractor may quote on the repair or replacement for any defective equipment. o Repairs or replacement may only be carried out if instructed by an Eskom Senior Supervisor by means of an official purchase order number. Any such replacement cost will be for Eskom’s account. o Inform Eskom Security, Northern Cape Operating Unit, in advance of arrival time of Contractor technical staff at substations, in order to make prior arrangements with Eskom technical staff to accompany and supervise the Contractor staff into the substation. o Contractor technical staff to be in possession of their PSIRA ID cards when working on Eskom sites.

A report on defects sent by the Customer on the last day of the warranty period shall be deemed a report sent in a timely manner.
