Common use of Termination of Participant Clause in Contracts

Termination of Participant. If the Participant terminates participation in the Medical Expense Reimbursement Account, expenses incurred prior to such termination shall be eligible for reimbursement. Provided, however, that if the Participant elects health continuation coverage under COBRA (pursuant to Section 4980B of the Code) with respect to the Medical Expense Reimbursement Account, expenses incurred after the date of termination of participation which occur no later than the earlier of (i) the end of the Plan Year, or (ii) the cessation of health continuation coverage with respect to the Medical Expense Reimbursement Account will be reimbursable.
