Common use of Termination and Renewal Clause in Contracts

Termination and Renewal. 42.01 This Agreement shall become effective as of the 1st day of January, 2007, and shall continue in effect until the 31st day of December, 2010 at which time it shall be automatically renewed unless either party gives notice to the other, not more than ninety (90) days prior to the expiry date of its desire to enter into negotiations for the revision or renewal of all or any part of this Agreement, and both parties shall thereupon enter into negotiations in good faith and make every reasonable effort to secure a renewal.
