Solid Waste Disposal. Bottom Ash Disposal The function of the bottom ash disposal system is to remove accumulations of furnace bottom ash, pulverizer pyrites, economizer ash, and air preheater fly ash by means of a water- ash slurry to a disposal pond located approximately 2,000 feet southeast of the plant site. The system consists generally of three sets of fly ash hoppers, (economizer, air heater, and flue gas duct hoppers) pyrite hoppers, the bottom ash xxxxxx, an 18,000 gallon transfer tank, a settling pond, a clear water pond and various pumps, and pipelines. Clinker grinders are used to grind the bottom ash which is then mixed with water and sluiced to the ash transfer tank. The economizer ash collected in economizer hoppers falls by gravity to the ash transfer tank. The pyrites are collected in local tanks and sluiced to the ash transfer tank. Ash collected in the flue gas duct hoppers and air preheater hoppers is sluiced to the ash transfer tank. These ashes are pumped from the ash transfer tank to the bottom ash pond. Reclaimed water is returned from the bottom ash disposal pond and redistributed to the various sections of the bottom ash disposal system.
Solid Waste Disposal i. Dispose of all garbage in proper shore-side dumpsters.
Solid Waste Disposal. Usual and customary use/consumption of electricity and natural gas, if applicable, is included in the Program Fee. TENANT will be responsible for charges related to excessive use and/or consumption of utilities as determined by A&M SYSTEM. A&M SYSTEM will provide air conditioning and heating sufficient to maintain any office spaces within the Premises at a temperature necessary for proper comfort of the occupants under normal office suite conditions.
Solid Waste Disposal. The Banff transfer station will be transferred to the Town. The Town will take over the Park solid waste disposal hauling contract and Banff transfer station operation.
Solid Waste Disposal. XXXXXXX agrees to comply with section 6002 of the Solid Waste Disposal Act, as amended by the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. The requirements of Section 6002 include procuring only items designated in guidelines of the US EPA at 40 CFR Part 247 that contain the highest percentage of recovered materials practicable, consistent with maintaining a satisfactory level of competition, where the purchase price of the item exceeds $10,000.00 or the value of the quantity acquired by the preceding federal fiscal year exceeded $10,000.00; procuring solid waste management services in a manner that maximizes energy and resource recovery; and establishing an affirmative procurement program for procurement of recovered materials identified in the US EPA guidelines.
Solid Waste Disposal. 343 Contractor shall receive, accept, and safely and lawfully Dispose of at the Landfill, the Authority-directed 344 Solid Waste delivered from the Approved Transfer Station in a manner that meets or exceeds all 345 requirements of Applicable Law including, but not limited to, the Resource Conservation and Recovery 346 Act (RCRA).
Solid Waste Disposal. All solid waste collected for disposal by Contractor shall be hauled to Granger Xxxx Street Landfill at 00000 Xxxx Xxxx, Xxxxxxx, Xxxxxxxx. The Contractor shall assume payment of all related costs/fees, including all tipping fees. The Contractor reserves right to dispose of solid waste at alternate licensed disposal sites and to use transfer stations for intermediate handling of materials.

Pursuant to 2 CFR § 200.322, Contractor must comply with section 6002 of the Solid Waste Disposal Act, as amended by the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (codified at 42 USC § 6962). The requirements of Section 6002 include procuring only items designated in guidelines of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) at 40 CFR Part 247 that contain the highest percentage of recovered materials practicable, consistent with maintaining a satisfactory level of competition, where the purchase price of the item exceeds $10,000 or the value of the quantity acquired during the preceding fiscal year exceeded $10,000; procuring solid waste management services in a manner that maximizes energy and resource recovery; and establishing an affirmative procurement program for procurement of recovered materials identified in the EPA guidelines.
Solid Waste Disposal. Collector shall dispose of all collected Solid Waste that is not recycled, in accordance with applicable law. Collector shall make every effort to process Solid Waste, or to otherwise divert it from disposal in a landfill to the extent possible, to achieve maximum Diversion.
Solid Waste Disposal. Franchisee shall dispose of all Solid Waste collected under this Agreement or any Solid Waste residuals remaining after processing, at the Xxxxxxxx Regional Landfill in Storey County, Dayton Transfer Station, or Xxxxxx City Landfill.
