Required Tests a. Pre-Employment Testing Prior to the first time an employee performs a safety-sensitive function for the District, the employee must receive a controlled substance test result indicating a verified negative test result. This test may be conducted by the District during the hiring process or before the employee begins to perform safety-sensitive functions.

Required Tests. Tests will be used when required by the Office of Personnel Management, U.S. Air Force or the Air Force Materiel Command. Tests required by the employer for effecting personnel actions shall meet Office of Personnel Management (OPM) guidelines.
Required Tests. PRE-EMPLOYMENT An alcohol and drug test shall be performed when hiring an employee required to hold a CDL, or transferring an existing employee into a CDL position. Pre-employment test costs shall be paid for by the applicant. If the applicant passes testing; he/she will be reimbursed. POST-ACCCIDENT As soon as possible but no later than 2-8 hours after an accident occurs during employment hours, any employee whose performance either contributed to the accident or whose performance cannot be completely discounted as a contributing factor to the accident shall be drug/alcohol tested. The decision to test or not to test shall be at the sole discretion of the employer based upon information available immediately after the accident. The supervisor in conjunction with any other investigative personnel shall fully document the basis upon which a decision to test or not to test is made. In the case of an accident involving a fatality or an injury, the issuance of a citation to a Borough of Collingswood employee, the involved employee shall automatically be tested. RANDOM DRUG TESTING Throughout the year a testing service contracted by the Borough of Collingswood shall conduct random alcohol and drug tests to randomly selected employees. The testing services shall use a scientifically valid random selection method, testing 25% of the CDL employees for alcohol and 50% for drugs. These tests shall be performed just prior to, during, or just after duty. The test costs shall be paid for by the Borough of Collingswood.

  • INSPECTION/TESTING All Products sold pursuant to this Agreement will be subject to inspection/testing by or at the direction of H- GAC and/or the ordering Customer, either at the delivery destination or the place of manufacture. In the event a Product fails to meet or exceed all requirements of this Agreement, and unless otherwise agreed in advance, the cost of any inspection and/or testing, will be the responsibility of the Contractor.

  • Follow-up Testing An employee shall submit to unscheduled follow-up drug and/or alcohol testing if, within the previous 24-month period, the employee voluntarily disclosed drug or alcohol problems, entered into or completed a rehabilitation program for drug or alcohol abuse, failed or refused a preappointment drug test, or was disciplined for violating the provisions of this Agreement and Employer work rules. The Employer may require an employee who is subject to follow-up testing to submit to no more than six unscheduled drug or alcohol tests within any 12 month period.

  • Health Tests At the time of employment, the Employer shall provide a Tuberculin skin test at no cost to the nurse. In the event of a positive reaction to this test, the Employer will provide a chest x-ray at no cost. Upon request, a routine blood examination and urinalysis will be provided at no cost to the nurse once each year.

  • Laboratory Testing All laboratories selected by UPS Freight for analyzing Controlled Substances Testing will be HHS certified.

  • Substance Abuse Testing The Parties agree that it is in the best interest of all concerned to promote a safe working environment. The Union has no objection to pre-employment substance abuse testing when required by the Employer and further, the Union has no objection to voluntary substance abuse testing to qualify for employment on projects when required by a project owner. The cost and scheduling of such testing shall be paid for and arranged by the Employer. The Union agrees to reimburse the Employer for any failed pre-access Alcohol and Drug test costs.

  • Alcohol Testing Alcohol testing will be conducted by using an evidential breath testing device (EBT) approved by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Non-EBT devices may be used for initial screening tests. A screening test will be conducted first. If the result is an alcohol concentration level of less than 0.02, the test is considered a negative test. If the alcohol concentration level is 0.02 or more, a second confirmation test will be conducted. Levels of .04 or greater on the confirmation test will be considered positive.

  • Loop Testing/Trouble Reporting 2.1.8.1 NOW will be responsible for testing and isolating troubles on the Loops. NOW must test and isolate trouble to the BellSouth portion of a designed/non-designed unbundled loop (e.g., UVL-SL2, UCL-D, UVL-SL1, UCL-ND, etc.) before reporting repair to the UNE Customer Wholesale Interconnection Network Services (CWINS) Center. At the time of the trouble report, NOW will be required to provide the results of the NOW test which indicate a problem on the BellSouth provided loop.

  • Right to Observe Testing Developer and Connecting Transmission Owner shall each notify the other Party, and the NYISO, in advance of its performance of tests of its Attachment Facilities. The other Party, and the NYISO, shall each have the right, at its own expense, to observe such testing.

  • Random Testing Notwithstanding any provisions of the Collective Agreement or any special agreements appended thereto, section 4.6 of the Canadian Model will not be applied by agreement. If applied to a worker dispatched by the Union, it will be applied or deemed to be applied unilaterally by the Employer. The Union retains the right to grieve the legality of any imposition of random testing in accordance with the Grievance Procedure set out in this Collective Agreement.
