Common use of Religious Objections Clause in Contracts

Religious Objections. Any individual employee who objects to a payment in lieu of dues on bona fide religious tenets or teachings of a church or religious body of which the employee is a member shall inform the County and the Association of this objection. The employee will meet with representatives of the Association and establish a mutually-satisfactory arrangement for distribution of a contribution of an amount of money equivalent to regular Association membership dues, initiation fees, and assessments, if any, to the non-religious charity or to another charitable organization mutually agreed upon by the employee and the Association.
