Common use of Religious Objections Clause in Contracts

Religious Objections. Any individual employee who objects to a payment in lieu of dues on bona fide religious tenets or teachings of a church or religious body of which the employee is a member shall inform the County and the Association of this objection. The employee will meet with representatives of the Association and establish a mutually-satisfactory arrangement for distribution of a contribution of an amount of money equivalent to regular Association membership dues, initiation fees, and assessments, if any, to the non-religious charity or to another charitable organization mutually agreed upon by the employee and the Association. The employee shall furnish written proof to the County that such has been accomplished, as appropriate.
