LIVING AWAY FROM HOME. 8.2 This clause shall apply when:
LIVING AWAY FROM HOME. Where an employee is engaged on distant work, the company shall provide whichever is the greater of, reasonable board and lodgings at no cost to the employee, or allowance of $145.95 per day engaged on distant work and additionally travel costs as per 2.6 above.
LIVING AWAY FROM HOME. An employee who is required to work at a distance from his usual place of residence that is unreasonable to return home to each day will be entitled to reasonable board and accommodation or be paid a living away from home allowance of $59.11 per day or $413.13 per week.
LIVING AWAY FROM HOME. 24.16.1 An employee required to work at a distance from his or her usual place of residence that is unreasonable to return home each day will be entitled to reasonable board and accommodation or to be paid a living away from home allowance. If an allowance is to be paid this will be set out in a separate letter and the employee will be required to complete a Living Away From Home Declaration form.
LIVING AWAY FROM HOME. 2.30.1 An employee required to work on a job or site that requires living away from home shall, in addition to any allowances prescribed in this Agreement’s Travel Time and Reimbursement of Expenses clause, be entitled to payment at ordinary time rates for time taken on the return journey outside working hours.
LIVING AWAY FROM HOME. (a) As a general rule, accommodation of a reasonable standard will be supplied to Employees when working away (which occurs when a work site is further than one and a half hours’ travel, one way, from the Employer’s home base). Accommodation will be organised with absolute priority given to sourcing single rooms, these may not necessarily be in the same accommodation, if these are not available then: • a single partition room will be considered • If neither single room options are available, employees will be accommodated in twin share rooms until a single room or a single partition room becomes available.

LIVING AWAY FROM HOME. (On Site Work, excluding Western Australia) For the purposes of this clause a distant construction site is one where the location of the on-site construction work is such that because of its distance or because of the travelling facilities available to and from the location it is reasonably necessary for an FTM to live and sleep at some place other than his/her usual place of residence. When an FTM is sent other than at his/her own request to work at a distant construction site the Company shall:
LIVING AWAY FROM HOME. An Employee shall be entitled to the provisions of this clause when employed on a job or construction work at such a distance from his usual place of residence that he/she can not reasonably return to his/her usual place of residence and is required to take up residence at a location close to the project and the duration of the residence is twenty one (21) days or greater, The parties acknowledge that Employees will not be financially disadvantaged but the Company’s competitiveness, utilisation of its existing workforce and the use of local labour are determining factors in the implementation of this clause. Where an employee qualifies under this clause, the Company shall pay an amount based on either:-
LIVING AWAY FROM HOME. 37.1 An employee shall be entitled to the provisions of this clause when engaged at a location where work subject to this agreement is performed and the location is such a distance from the employee’s usual place of residence that the employee cannot reasonably return home each night. To claim provisions herein documentary proof of the employee’s address of their usual place of residence will be required by the Company and must be provided by the employee.
