Leave of Absence for Military Service. 1. An employee, other than a person holding a position for a fixed term or period, who enters the military service in time of war or emergency, or for any period of training, or pursuant to any selective service system, shall be entitled to a leave of absence without pay for the period of such service and three months after discharge. However, if an employee shall be incapacitated by wound or illness at the time of discharge, such leave shall be extended until three months from recovery but in no event more than two years from date of discharge.

Leave of Absence for Military Service. All part-time regular faculty who are members of the National Guard or who are military reservists will be given leave without loss of pay for not more than two weeks per year when engaged in training, if authorized by the Governor or under the provisions of the National Defense Act.
Leave of Absence for Military Service. 1. A support staff employee shall be granted a leave of absence for military service and shall be entitled to reemployment at the termination of such service.
Leave of Absence for Military Service. An employee who enters the military service by draft or enlistment shall be granted a leave of absence for that purpose and at the conclusion of such leave of absence shall be reinstated in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Armed Services Re- employment Act and any other applicable laws then effective. No loss of seniority shall occur during such leave.
Leave of Absence for Military Service. In addition to the leaves of absence provided in Article 6 of this Collective Agreement, the parties agree to provide the following leave on a trial basis. A leave of absence shall be granted at full salary for two (2) days at the time of deployment or return of a family member in military service. For the purposes of this letter of understanding, “a family member” shall be any member of the teacher’s immediate family. The two (2) days of leave may be taken either at the time of deployment, or at the time of return, or a combination of the two events, however, shall not exceed a combined total of two (2) days. This letter shall expire and have no further force and effect on June 30, 2016.

Leave of Absence for Military Service. A Participant while on a voluntary or involuntary leave of absence for Military Service shall be entitled to benefits under the Plan applicable to the Participant immediately prior to the leave of absence for Events occurring prior to the leave of absence.
