Job Placement. One on one placement assistance is a critical function of individualized career services. SUB-RECIPIENT shall work closely with their clients to provide them with solid recommendations for pursuing job leads that match their individual skills, work history, and other abilities, and which have potential for employment. SUB-RECIPIENT shall also work closely with prospective employers in order to develop job leads and negotiate job opportunities for their clients. Maintaining positive relationships with businesses/employers will lead to more effective outcomes; and
Job Placement. Prior to layoff, the County shall attempt to place employees in a vacant position. The employee must have received formal layoff notice and requested reassignment to another department and/or position. Attempted placement shall be conducted in accordance with the County’s Civil Service Rules. Job placement under this article shall not be grievable or arbitrable under this MOU, but may be appealed to the Director of Human Resources for review.
Job Placement. By changing from departmental layoff and recall to plant-wide layoff and recall, the Company and the Union recognize that when a layoff occurs, certain jobs will become open in areas where no work shortage exists. Subject to the other provisions of this Article 11 and Article 16, these jobs will be filled by transferring employees from within their own departments and from other departments within the plant. The decision as to which employee will be transferred to which job will be the responsibility of the Company. Decisions made by the Company shall be subject to appeal by the Union. The Company will try, in all cases to transfer employees so that no loss in pay will result. It is agreed and understood that this may not be possible in all transfers. Where it is not possible to transfer an employee to a similar paying open job, the employee will transfer to the next lower paying job provided that the employee has the necessary skill, ability and experience to perform the job. Where there is more than one person to transfer and skill, ability and experience are equal, the lower seniority person will transfer to the lower paying open job.
Job Placement. Upon a written request from the employee, the Board agrees to reasonably aid any teacher removed through reduction in force to find a comparable position in an area school.

Job Placement. A. Secretaries shall be assigned within their area of competence and experience, and assignments shall be determined without regard to handicap, race, creed, color, national origin, age, sex, marital status or association with any employee organization.
Job Placement. I will make every effort to complete the training program and immediately seek, find and maintain full time employment near or after the completion of training. I agree to provide a resume to my Career Advisor before the completion of training to assist with job placement activities. I will attend job search related workshops, seminars and webinars and seek employment opportunities through my training provider. I will use the Career Resource Center resources, work with WorkSource staff and conduct self-directed job search efforts to obtain training- related credentials and training-related, permanent, full-time employment. I will provide name, address, telephone, fax and email of my employer, my employment start date, initial wage, hours of employment and position title indicating whether the job is training related to my Career Advisor. I will provide to my Career Advisor, documentation of earnings such as check stub, or a job offer letter when this document becomes available. If, for any reason, I become unemployed, I will immediately advise my Career Advisor and begin active efforts to become re-employed.
Job Placement. Contractor is responsible for and will provide direct job placement services to job ready WIOA Adult and DW program clients. To this end, Contractor will counsel clients on how to successfully apply for, interview for and secure employment. Contractor will actively seek to develop relationships and connections with the business community specifically for the reason of placing job ready clients into employment.
Job Placement a. The Contractor shall provide all services necessary to locate, secure, and place a Customer into a paid, integrated, and competitive job that is mutually agreed upon by the DVR Counselor, the employer, the County, the Contractor, the Customer and/or the Customer’s representative/guardian. Specific placement expectations shall be outlined on the DVR SDOP for Job Placement and Intensive Training.
Job Placement. In the case of layoff, any affected employee(s) may choose at the time of layoff to be placed into any vacant position at UVM (a vacant position is one posted on the xxx.xxxxxxx.xxx site), provided they meet the position requirements or, as determined by the University, will be able to meet the position requirements within a reasonable amount of time as determined in the sole discretion of the University, but not to exceed six (6) months from being placed in the new position. If two or more laid off employees choose to be placed in the same position, and each meets the position requirements, the most senior employee will be selected.
