FACTUAL BACKGROUND AND RECITALS. 1. On December 31, 2020, after an extensive pre-filing investigation, Plaintiff Xxxxx Xxxxxxxxx filed a class action lawsuit against Defendant alleging violations of the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act, 740 ILCS § 14/1, et seq. (“BIPA”) in the Circuit Court of Xxxx County, Illinois.
FACTUAL BACKGROUND AND RECITALS. 1. On July 26, 2018, Plaintiff filed a Class Action Complaint (“Complaint”) against Defendants and ADP, LLC1 in the Circuit Court of Xxxx County alleging violations of the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (“BIPA”), 740 ILCS 14/1, et seq. Plaintiff moved for leave to amend her Complaint to add Loews COH Operating Company, LLC as a defendant on April 5, 2019. Plaintiff’s motion was granted on April 12, 2019, and Plaintiff filed the operative First Amended Class Action Complaint in the Circuit Court of Xxxx County on April 12, 2019. On May 10, 2019, Defendant Loews COH Operating Company, LLC, filed a Notice of Removal in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Defendants moved to dismiss Plaintiff’s First Amended Complaint on May 24, 2019, and the motion was fully briefed on November 8, 2019.
FACTUAL BACKGROUND AND RECITALS. 1. On February 13, 2009, Xxxxxx Xxxxxxx and Xxxxx Xxxxxxxx filed a putative collective action lawsuit against Defendants in the United States District Court for the District of Kansas, asserting claims under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), seeking to represent a collective group consisting of all bank tellers employed by Defendants in the United States. (D.Kan. Case No. 09-2073, Doc. 1).
FACTUAL BACKGROUND AND RECITALS. 1. On October 20, 2021, Plaintiff filed a class action lawsuit against Xxxxxxx House based on a cyberattack on Xxxxxxx House’s network in June 2021 (the “Incident”), alleging claims of negligence, negligence per se, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of confidence, intrusion upon seclusion/invasion of privacy, breach of implied contract, and unjust enrichment (the “Litigation”).

Plaintiffs filed their Consolidated Complaint (the “Complaint”) against Horizon Actuarial on July 13, 2022, in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. The Complaint alleged seventeen (17) claims, including: negligence, negligence per se, unjust enrichment, declaratory judgment and injunctive relief, invasion of privacy, violations of the Arkansas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, violation of the California Consumer Privacy Act, violation of California’s Customer Records Act, violation of the unlawful and unfair prong of California’s Unfair Competition Law, violation of Idaho’s Consumer Protection Act, violations of the Illinois Consumer Fraud Act, violation of Louisiana’s Database Security Breach Notification Law, violation of Louisiana’s Unfair Trade Practices and Consumer Protection Law, violation of Nevada’s Deceptive Trade Practices Act, violation of North Carolina’s Unfair Trade Practices Act, violations of Oregon’s Unfair Trade Practices Act, and violations of O.C.G.A. § 13-6-11.

On March 3, 2020, Plaintiffs Xxxxx Xxxxxx and Xxxxx Xxxxxx filed a class action lawsuit against Defendant alleging violations of the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act, 740 ILCS § 14/1, et seq. (“BIPA”) in the case of Xxxxxx, et al. v. Xxxx Food Products, Inc., No. 2020-CH-02635 (Cir. Ct. of Cook Cty., Illinois). On June 2, 2020, Plaintiff Xxxxxxx Xxxxx filed a class action lawsuit against Defendant also alleging violations of BIPA, and also on behalf of the same putative class members, in the case of Xxxxxxx Xxxxx v. Xxxx
FACTUAL BACKGROUND AND RECITALS. 1. On January 14, 2020, Xxxxxxx filed a Class Action Complaint (“Complaint”) against Defendant in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois alleging violations of the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act (“BIPA”), 740 ILCS 14/1, et seq. Plaintiffs sought leave to amend on October 26, 2021, and filed the operative Amended Complaint that same day, adding Xxxxxxxx as a Class Representative.

On January 7, 2019, Plaintiff Xxxx Xxxxxxx (“Plaintiff Xxxxxxx”) filed a class action lawsuit against Defendant Paychex Inc. alleging violations of the Illinois Biometric Information Privacy Act, 740 ILCS § 14/1, et seq. (“BIPA”), in the Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois. The case was assigned to Judge Xxxxx Xxxxx, who has since retired.
FACTUAL BACKGROUND AND RECITALS. 1. On June 13, 2022, Plaintiff Xxxxxx Xxxxxxxx filed a class action lawsuit against Xxxxxxx based on a cyberattack on Allwell’s network in March 2022 (the “Incident”), alleging claims of negligence, negligence per se, breach of confidence, breach of contract, and unjust enrichment in the Southern District of Ohio.
FACTUAL BACKGROUND AND RECITALS. 1. In December 2021, UKG was a target of a ransomware attack on its Kronos Private Cloud (“KPC”) (“December 2021 KPC Cyberattack”), which affected the availability of KPC applications. When UKG detected the December 2021 KPC Cyberattack, UKG took immediate action to contain it by, among other things, taking the KPC environment offline.
