DISTANT LOCATIONS. Travel time is payable as contiguous work time up to 8 hours per any 24 hour day as follows: Studios and location within a 25-mile radius of Columbus Circle are ‘report-to’ locations. Studios and locations beyond 25 miles shall incur travel time and transportation expenses from the edge of the 25 mile radius. On out-of-town overnight location the accommodations shall be provided by the Employer, which shall be in addition to the meal allowances set forth below for any meals not provided to the Employee by the Employer during the work day. HOLIDAYS: All hours worked on the following holidays will be paid at the rate of doubletime: New Year's Day, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, The Day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. First class transportation, first class lodging accommodations (single occupancy when available), and all regular meals on and to and from. These assignments shall be furnished by the Employer and employees shall be reimbursed for amenities (such as laundry, tips, and long distance telephone calls to home of not more than one per day) in a reasonable amount incurred while on the assignment. If, while on a distant location, the Script and Continuity Supervisor is required to work on the sixth consecutive day, they shall be paid time and one half the daily rate. If the crew is required to work on the seventh day, they shall be paid double the daily rate.

  • Distant Work An employee sent from his or her usual locality to another (in circumstances other than those prescribed in 5.9.4(a) hereof) and required to remain away from his or her usual place of abode will be paid travelling time whilst necessarily travelling between such localities, and expenses whilst so absent from his or her usual locality.

  • Picket Lines The Employer agrees that, in the event of a legal picket line of another trade union being in existence at any of the Employer's stores within the Bargaining Unit, the Employer will in no way require or force members to report to work behind such a picket line. Nor will the Employer discipline or in any way discriminate against an employee who refuses to report to work while a legal picket line exists at his or her place of work.

  • Routes All bus stops and bus routes will be mutually agreed upon prior to the start of the school year. Additional stops will not be added until approved by Boys & Girls Clubs and reviewed for safety and approved by the School Board’s Transportation Department. Route changes, if approved, will require seven (7) calendar days from the date of request to the date of implementation. Special needs transportation requests must be made a minimum of fourteen (14) days prior to the requested date of implementation.

  • Seniority List The Employer shall maintain a seniority list showing the date upon which each employee's service commenced. An up-to-date seniority list shall be sent to the Union and posted on all bulletin boards in January of each year.

  • Casual Nurse is a Nurse in an employment relationship which is not regular. A Casual Nurse may be offered work as outlined in this Agreement. The Employer may offer work to a Casual Nurse at the Employer’s discretion subject to the provisions of the Collective Agreement. Once a Casual Nurse accepts a work assignment including a scheduled extra shift, a relief shift, a Temporary Position, a period of Stand-By or a Call Back during a Stand-By, the Casual Nurse is obligated to work. Except where specifically excluded, the provisions of the Collective Agreement apply to a Casual Nurse.

  • Casual Loading (e) Superannuation contributions are to be made for periods when Employees are on:

  • Picket Line It shall not be considered a violation of this Agreement for an employee to refuse to cross a picket line which has been legally established as a result of a bona fide labour dispute between a recognized Trade Union and an Employer with whom the picketing Union has a dispute.

  • Crossing of Picket Lines Employees shall not be required to cross any picket line legally established and maintained under the statutes of British Columbia. The Union agrees to seriously attempt to get permits from the picketing Union to allow School Board employees to carry out normal functions.
