Delivery Vehicles. Except for resident deliveries pursuant to Section 3.6, Acceptable Waste shall be delivered by or on behalf of the Jurisdictions, at their expense, to the Facility in accordance with this Agreement and Exhibit C hereto, and shall comply with the Company’s reasonable identification procedures pursuant to Section 3.4 and Applicable Law.

Delivery Vehicles. Acceptable Waste may be delivered to the Facility in a variety of vehicles including, but not limited to, side-loading collection trucks, rear-loading collection trucks, front-loading collection trucks, tractor-trailer vehicles, open top and closed roll-off containers, compactors, and other open or closed vehicles. The Facility shall be equipped to receive all vehicles that are lawfully used to transport Acceptable Waste.
Delivery Vehicles. The Contractor shall ensure that delivery vehicles meet all current legislative requirements, are suitable and sufficient to transport the plant items concerned, and have the appropriate certificated equipment to safely load and unload the plant.

Vehicles shall be maintained in a sanitary condition to prevent contamination of the food and shall be subject to inspection by the Government at all reasonable times. Supplies submitted for acceptance in vehicles that are not sanitary may be rejected without further inspection. Concurrent transportation of bulk contained pesticides, rodenticide, petroleum products, inedible products, or other caustic or volatile compounds or household chemicals with food items is undesirable but occasionally necessary. When a carrier jointly transports food items and cleaning agents or hazardous products, the cleaning agents or hazardous products will be effectively separated from the food items. These products shall be unitized, loaded completely lower than any food items on the carrier, and separated horizontally from the food items to the maximum distance allowed by the physical configuration of the carrier. Shrink-wrap shall be used to secure items to pallets and provide stabilization.
