City Manager or Designee. If the grievance is not resolved at Step 2, the appropriate Unit Representative may forward the grievance to the City Manager or their designee within ten (10) working days after receiving the Step 2 answer. The City Manager or their designee will have ten (10) working days in which to schedule a meeting with the aggrieved employee, the Unit Griever, the Unit Chairperson, and a USW representative. The City Manager or their designee will investigate and respond in writing to the grievance within ten (10) working days following the Step 3 meeting.
City Manager or Designee. A. If the grievant is not satisfied with the written answer received in Step Two, within seven (7) business days after his receipt thereof, he may submit the original of the grievance form and one copy to the City Manager or his designee and request that the meeting contemplated by this Step Three be scheduled.
City Manager or Designee. 1. If the grievant is not satisfied with the disposition of the grievance at Level I, or if no decision is rendered within the designated time period in Level I, the grievant may forward the written grievance to the City Manager or his/her designee within ten (10) days after the decision at Level I or twenty (20) days after the grievance was presented to the department head or designee, whichever is later.
City Manager or Designee a) The employee shall refer the grievance and all relevant material concerning the grievance to the City Manager or designee. Within ten (10) calendar days from the receipt of same, the City Manager or designee shall convene a hearing into the cause of the grievance. The City Manager or designee shall conduct a fair and impartial hearing on the grievance.
City Manager or Designee. The employee may process the grievance with the City Manager or his/her designee within five (5) working days after receiving the Step Three (3) reply. The City Manager or his/her designee shall investigate and attempt to adjust the matter and shall respond to the grievant with a written answer within ten (10) working days, following the meeting. Grievances involving termination or suspensions of more than three (3), loss of pay or reduction in rank days shall be filed directly at Step 4 within fifteen (15) days of the discipline.
