CATEGORIES OF WORK. The work most often performed under this plan is Emergency Work. This work is performed immediately to save lives, to protect property, for public health and safety, and/or to avert or lessen the threat of a major disaster. Emergency Work contains two categories: Debris Clearance (Category A) and Protective Measures (Category B). It is possible that certain types of claims may be made under Permanent Work categories. For example, certain damages or losses of facilities and equipment may fall into the Permanent Work categories.

CATEGORIES OF WORK. The following is a list of the various categories of work contemplated. An hourly rate to include labor, material, equipment and operator must be submitted for each category. The work encompasses re-winding of both 25 cycle and 60 cycle motors ranging in size from 20 HP to 2000 HP. Motor Rewind Item 0001: Drayage Pick up motor from on-site, as required. Item 0002: Burn and Strip Stator Take data off of unit, burn and strip the stator via a burnout oven, no torches allowed. Perform core loss test before and after stripping. Item 0003: Re-wind stator Re-wind the stator. Item 0004: Treat Coils VPI treat the finished coils with a high quality Class “H” or better insulating varnish. The stator is to be dipped twice. Item 0005: Balance Rotor Wash, back, vin dip, and balance rotor. Item 0006: Check the ring skim cut Mic and check the rings skim cut if needed. Item 0007: Replace Insulators Replace bad insulators if needed. Item 0008: Check for proper tolerances Mic all bearing journals, housings, and fits for proper tolerances. Repair if needed. Item 0009: Install new bearings Install new bearings. Item 0010: General Finishing/ Cleaning Remove all excess varnish from the frame and paint the machine gray. Color per approval by SWBNO representative. Item 0011: Test Run of Motor Test run of motor. Test and balance rotor. Put lay out die on iron. Test run must be approved by SWBNO representative prior to return of unit. Item 0012: Electrical troubleshooting and repairs Electrical troubleshooting and repairs including but not limited to the following components: internals, controls, fans, fuel systems. The xxxxxxx will be a skilled craftsman with appropriate licensure to work on the electrical components of the system. Equipment and work may inclu de but not be limited to RTD’s, relays, breakers, cabling and connections, batteries, battery chargers. Item 00013: Mechanical troubleshooting and repairs Mechanical troubleshooting and repairs including but not limited to the following com ponents: internals, controls, fans, fuel systems. The xxxxxxx will be a skilled craftsman with appropriate experience to work on the mechanical components of the system. Equipment and work may include but not be limited to fan motors and blades, RTD’s, and fuel pumps.
