For further clarification, a « union representative » is defined as the Local Union President. Should this person not be available, the Company will attempt to contact an executive of the Component. On other airlines, deadheading may be in Economy class. Deadheading must never be on standby. Deadheading must always be on flights with assigned numbered seating before or after operating a flight.
