Winter Session. This Contract commences at 8 a.m. on your assigned Move‐In Date. You are required to move out 24 hours after the end of the April 2022 exam period defined by the UVic Undergrad/Graduate Academic Calendar 2021-22.

Examples of Winter Session in a sentence

  • Members of the Bargaining Unit who have accepted an appointment as a Teaching Assistant for the ensuing Winter Session will be assigned to a specific course or other duties by August 31 if possible, and in any event no later than September 30.

  • For Winter Session courses, this mid-course meeting shall be held no later than November 15th for “F” courses, January 31st for “Y” courses, and March 1st for “S” courses.

  • As set out on your Contract Confirmation, ID and Emergency Contact Card, your accommodation occurs within one of the following sessions (each, a “Session”): • Term One Session only; or • Term Two Session only; or • Winter Session (which is equivalent to Term One and Term Two).

  • If after you to accept this Contract for the Winter Session you are permitted pursuant to the criteria in Section 1.08 to change your Session to a Term One Session, or a Term Two Session, then, you are required to vacate and surrender your accommodation to the University for the revised Session in accordance with this section 1.02.

  • If the student buys out a space for Fall Semester and space demand is high for Winter Session and/or Spring Semester, Residence Life & Housing may assign a student to that space for either or both of those terms.

  • A full Teaching Assistantship in the Winter Session involves 384 hours of work including time off for vacations.

  • Winter Session Occupancy In order to live in a residence hall during Winter Session, students must be registered for at least one in-person Winter Session course or academically approved project, or be approved to participate in a special University activity.

  • Students staying over inter-session must submit a Winter Session Housing Agreement to retain access to their assigned campus housing.

  • Students residing on campus for Winter Session, unless assigned to a designated apartment, are required to purchase one of the dining plans available for residence hall students.
