UPS Databases definition

UPS Databases means databases of proprietary information related to the shipping services of the UPS Parties and distributed with or for use with Software. UPS Delivery Co. has the definition provided in General Terms and Conditions Section 12.10.

Examples of UPS Databases in a sentence

  • You may only use these UPS Databases to prepare shipping labels through UPS WorldShip software each UPS Database is distributed with and for no other purpose.

  • UPS Databases are distributed in association with UPS WorldShip software.

  • You may not export, whether by (i) data export functionality built into the Software; (ii) extraction from the Software interface (e.g. screen scraping); or (iii) otherwise, any data from the UPS Databases and use such data for comparing shipping rates or delivery times with the shipping rates or delivery times of any third party that is not a member of the UPS Parties.

  • For clarity, but not by way of limitation, You may not export, whether by (i) data export functionality built into UPS WorldShip software; (ii) extraction from UPS WorldShip software interface (e.g., screen scraping); or (iii) otherwise, any data from the UPS Databases and use such data for comparing shipping rates or delivery times with the shipping rates or delivery times of any third party that is not a member of UPSI.

  • You acknowledge and agree that failure to use the most recent version of UPS WorldShip software and the UPS Databases may result in the application of a manual processing charge, if applicable, as provided by the UPS Terms and Conditions of Carriage/Service in effect at the time of shipping.

  • You may only access, alter or modify these UPS Databases using UPS WorldShip software through use of the (1) data import and (2) external database mapping and integration functions of UPS WorldShip software.

  • UPS will automatically deliver Updates to UPS WorldShip software and associated UPS Databases (“WorldShip Updates”) to computers onto which You have installed UPS WorldShip software.

  • If You choose not to accept a WorldShip Update, You must remove and cease use of UPS WorldShip software and its associated UPS Databases and Your license in UPS WorldShip software and its associated UPS Databases will terminate on the date such WorldShip Update was scheduled to be applied.

  • You may only use these UPS Databases to prepare shipping labels through UPS WorldShip software and for no other purpose.

  • You acknowledge and agree that failure to use the most recent version of UPS WorldShip software and the UPS Databases may result in the application of a manual processing charge as provided by the document describing UPS services for small package shipments and freight movements available from the country of origin, terms and conditions for such services and fees for such services (“UPS Terms and Conditions of Carriage/Service”) as applicable for the country of origin in effect at the time of shipping.

Related to UPS Databases

  • Databases means databases and other compilations and collections of data or information.

  • Computer database or “database” means a collection of recorded information in a form capable of, and for the purpose of, being stored in, processed, and operated on by a computer. The term does not include computer software.

  • Database means the Commercial Driver Alcohol and Drug Testing Database of the Office of Driver Services of the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration.

  • Data means recorded information, regardless of form, the media on which it is recorded, or the method of recording.

  • Product Data are illustrations, standard schedules, performance charts, instructions, brochures, diagrams, and other information furnished by the Contractor to illustrate materials or equipment for some portion of the Work.

  • Firmware means software sold or licensed only in conjunction with machines, designed for execution only on a machine with which it is provided, designed only for machines other than a dedicated computer, and embedded into or installed on the machine by the machine’s manufacturer or seller.

  • User Data means any Personal Data or other data or information collected by or on behalf of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries from users of any Company Product or website of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries.

  • Pseudonymous data means personal data that cannot be attributed to a specific natural person

  • Computer means an electronic device that accepts information in digital or similar form and manipulates it for a result based on a sequence of instructions.

  • Compilation means providing a service to be performed in accordance with statements on standards for accounting and review services that are presenting, in the form of financial statements, information that is the representation of management or owners without undertaking to express any assurance on the statements.

  • End User Data means any information or data of any kind that personally identifies (or that can be used, together with other information or data, to personally identify) an End User.

  • System Data means data and data elements collected by the SaaS Software, SaaS Service or Licensor’s computer systems regarding configuration, environment, usage, performance, vulnerabilities and security of the SaaS Software or SaaS Service that may be used to generate logs, statistics and reports regarding performance, availability, integrity and security of the SaaS Software.

  • Customer Data means any content, materials, data and information that Authorized Users enter into the production system of a Cloud Service or that Customer derives from its use of and stores in the Cloud Service (e.g. Customer-specific reports). Customer Data and its derivatives will not include SAP’s Confidential Information.

  • Software means computer programs, whether in source code or object code form (including any and all software implementation of algorithms, models and methodologies), databases and compilations (including any and all data and collections of data), and all documentation (including user manuals and training materials) related to the foregoing.

  • Research Data means documents in a digital form, other than scientific publications, which are collected or produced in the course of scientific research activities and are used as evidence in the research process, or are commonly accepted in the research community as necessary to validate research findings and results;

  • Web Site means the website that you are currently using (xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xx.xx) and any sub-domains of this site (e.g. xxxxxxxxx.xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xx.xx) unless expressly excluded by their own terms and conditions.

  • Desktop computer means a computer where the main unit is intended to be located in a permanent location, often on a desk or on the floor. Desktops are not designed for portability and utilize an external computer display, keyboard, and mouse. Desktops are designed for a broad range of home and office applications.

  • Derived Data means data of any kind derived as a result (directly or indirectly) of the Data being Manipulated;

  • computer data means any representation of facts, information or concepts in a form suitable for processing in a computer system, including a program suitable to cause a computer system to perform a function;

  • Open Book Data means complete and accurate financial and non-financial information which is sufficient to enable the Customer to verify the Call Off Contract Charges already paid or payable and Call Off Contract Charges forecast to be paid during the remainder of this Call Off Contract, including details and all assumptions relating to: the Supplier’s Costs broken down against each Good and/or Service and/or Deliverable, including actual capital expenditure (including capital replacement costs) and the unit cost and total actual costs of all hardware and software; operating expenditure relating to the provision of the Services including an analysis showing: the unit costs and quantity of goods and any other consumables and bought-in services; manpower resources broken down into the number and grade/role of all Supplier Personnel (free of any contingency) together with a list of agreed rates against each manpower grade; a list of Costs underpinning those rates for each manpower grade, being the agreed rate less the Supplier’s Profit Margin; and Overheads; all interest, expenses and any other third party financing costs incurred in relation to the provision of the Services; the Supplier Profit achieved over the Call Off Contract Period and on an annual basis; confirmation that all methods of Cost apportionment and Overhead allocation are consistent with and not more onerous than such methods applied generally by the Supplier; an explanation of the type and value of risk and contingencies associated with the provision of the Services, including the amount of money attributed to each risk and/or contingency; and the actual Costs profile for each Service Period.

  • Company Data means (i) data and information regarding each Fund and the shareholders and shareholder accounts of each Fund which is inputted into the Licensed System and the content of records, files and reports generated from such data and information by the Licensed System, and (ii) Company 22c-2 Data (as defined in Section 6.15(a) of this Schedule C).
