Speech Therapy Services definition

Speech Therapy Services means those services defined pursuant to 24 Del.C. Ch. 37.

Speech Therapy Services means those diagnostic, screening, preventive or other corrective services provided by or under the supervision of a speech therapist within the scope of the practice of his profession.

Speech Therapy Services means those services defined pursuant to 24 Del.C. Ch. 37. “Supervision of Services” means authoritative procedural guidance by a qualified person for the accomplishment of a function or activity with initial direction and periodic inspection of the actual act ofaccomplishing the function or activity.

• This action is taken in compliance with the federal Improper Payments Information Act of 2002 (IPIA), Public Law 107-300 and the resulting Payment Error Rate Measurement (PERM) program initiated by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).If the facility contracts with a qualified therapy practitioner, the criteria for group providers of therapy services apply (See Section 201.100 of the Occupational, Physical, Speech Therapy Services manual).
