SPANZ Union definition

SPANZ Union means the Secondary Principals’ Association of New Zealand Inc;
SPANZ Union means the Secondary Principals’ Association of New Zealand Inc; “Secondary school” shall mean a year 9-13 (form 3-7) or a year 7-13 (form 1-7) school. This includes junior high schools and senior high schools.

Examples of SPANZ Union in a sentence

  • The schools identified by the Ministry are those set out in separate advice and may be changed by the Ministry as needs change, no more than annually, after consultation with the NZPPTA and SPANZ Union.

  • Nothing in these provisions shall be read as extending any entitlement beyond that which existed at the commencement of this agreement except as may be expressly agreed to by the Secretary for Education after consultation with the NZPPTA and SPANZ Union.

  • To do this, section 77 requires consultation with the NZPPTA and SPANZ Union, as organisations that represent principals who will be subject to such standards.

  • A Principal who is a member of PPTA or SPANZ Union as at 20 August 2019 and who on 2 September 2019 is covered by the SPCA and is on approved parental leave is entitled, upon application on their return, to receive the one-off gross payment of $500 on the return to their position providing that they return on or before 2 September 2020.

  • For the avoidance of doubt: A principal who is a member of PPTA or SPANZ Union as at 20 August 2019 and who on 2 September 2019 is covered by the SPCA and is on approved unpaid leave under Part 5 of the SPCA is entitled, upon application on their return, to receive the one-off gross payment of $500 on the return to their position providing that they return on or before 28 January 2020.

  • A principal who Is a member of PPTA or SPANZ Union as at 20 August 2019 and who on 2 September 2019 is covered by the SPCA and Is on approved paid leave from their position as principal on 2 September 2019 will be automatically entitled to this payment, without a requirement to apply for it.

  • The parties agree that every principal who is a member of PPTA or SPANZ Union as at 20 August 2019 and is covered by the Secondary Principals' Collective Agreement 2019-2022 on the date it commences (2 September 2019) is entitled to receive a one-off gross payment of $500.

  • The terms outlined in this document are valid for ratification by PPTA and SPANZ Union members, provided ratification is confirmed and the new SPCA Is signed no later than 3 pm 2 September 2019.

  • This agreement has been settled between the Secretary for Education, the PPTA and SPANZ Union and will be subject to ratification by PPTA and SPANZ Union members pursuant to section 51 of the Employment Relations Act 2000.

  • PROFESSIONAL STANDARDS The following professional standards were developed in 2009 following consultation with the NZPPTA, SPANZ Union, NZSTA, Teachers Council and ERO in accordance with section 77C of the State Sector Act.

Related to SPANZ Union

  • Civil union means a civil union established pursuant to Act 91 of the 2000 Vermont Legislative Session, entitled “Act Relating to Civil Unions”.

  • Urban Coordinating Council Empowerment Neighborhood means a neighborhood given priority access to State resources through the New Jersey Redevelopment Authority.

  • Local Union means a bargaining unit representing employees at an institution that has ratified a Collective Agreement that includes this Common Agreement.

  • Councillor means a member of a municipal council;

  • trade union means a trade union as defined in the Labour Relations Act, 1995 or the Canada Labour Code (Canada) and includes a central, regional or district labour council in Ontario.

  • European Union means the member nations of the European Union established by the Treaty of European Union, signed at Maastricht on February 2, 1992, which amended the Treaty of Rome establishing the European Community.

  • First Union means First Union National Bank, a national banking association, and its successors.

  • The Union means USW Local 2010 representing the Bargaining Unit as defined in Article 2: “Recognition and Scope”.

  • College community means trustees, students, staff, faculty, and visitors on college-owned or controlled facilities.

  • Public Finance Management Act ’ means the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (Act No. 1 of 1999);

  • Municipal Finance Management Act means the Local Government: Municipal Finance Management Act, 2003 (Act No. 56 of 2003);

  • School Community means all parents, students and staff of the school and all other persons who have a legitimate interest in or connection with the school.

  • Union means The Australian Workers' Union of Employees, Queensland.

  • Council Directive means Council Directive 89/552/EEC of 3 October 1989 on the co-ordination of certain provisions laid down by law, regulation or administrative action in Member States concerning the pursuit of television broadcasting activities as amended by Directive 97/36/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 June 1997 and by Directive 2007/65/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11 December 2007. A simplified and codified version of these Directives was introduced in 2010: the Audiovisual Media Services Directive 2010/13/EU.

  • bargaining council means a bargaining council registered in terms of the Labour Relations Act, 1995, and, in relation to the public service, includes the bargaining councils referred to in section 35 of that Act;

  • Council of Ministers means the Council of Ministers of the Community established by Article 9 of the Treaty;

  • Virginia Stormwater Management Act means Article 2.3 (§ 62.1-44.15:24 et seq.) of Chapter 3.1 of Title 62.1 of the Code of Virginia.

  • Organized criminal group means a structured group of three or more persons, existing for a period of time and acting in concert with the aim of committing one or more serious crimes or offences established in accordance with this Convention, in order to obtain, directly or indirectly, a financial or other material benefit;

  • Council Member means a member of the Council;

  • Planned community means a common interest community that is not a condominium or a cooperative. A condominium or cooperative may be part of a planned community.

  • Health planning region means a contiguous geographical area of the Commonwealth with a

  • Health and Human Services Commission or “HHSC” means the administrative agency established under Chapter 531, Texas Government Code, or its designee.

  • CARB means the California Air Resources Board.

  • British Council Entities means the subsidiary companies and other organisations Controlled by the British Council from time to time, and any organisation which Controls the British Council (the “Controlling Entity”) as well as any other organisations Controlled by the Controlling Entity from time to time;

  • Member of the University Community means students, faculty, or staff, or other persons affiliated with the University.

  • Michigan economic development corporation means the public body corporate created under section 28 of article VII of the state constitution of 1963 and the urban cooperation act of 1967, 1967 (Ex Sess) PA 7, MCL 124.501 to 124.512, by a contractual interlocal agreement effective April 5, 1999, as amended, between local participating economic development corporations formed under the economic development corporations act, 1974 PA 338, MCL 125.1601 to 125.1636, and the Michigan strategic fund. If the Michigan economic development corporation is unable for any reason to perform its duties under this act, those duties may be exercised by the Michigan strategic fund.
