Shift definition

Shift means the period of scheduled straight-time working hours on a scheduled workday where the hours scheduled are consecutive except for the meal period.
Shift means designated hours of work by an employee, with a designated beginning time and quitting time.

  • Time worked prior to or after Afternoon Shift shall not attract the Afternoon Shift penalty rate.
