Settlement Process definition

Settlement Process means the process of debiting and crediting the CHATS Ledger Accounts of the Members for purposes of settlement of their respective Settlement Amounts in a Bulk Clearing Settlement Run and, depending on the context, includes a Re-Settlement as defined in Schedule I, a settlement of JETCO Items or SJET Items as provided for in Part IV of Schedule III, a settlement of Credit Card Items as provided for in Part V of Schedule III and a settlement of OTC Items as provided for in Part VI of Schedule III.
Settlement Process means the closing process on each Business Day by which Bank transfers money between the Concentration Account and any of Subsidiary Account to ensure that all Items drawn on the Subsidiary Account are paid and the Subsidiary Account maintains the specified Target Ledger Balances.
