Sensitive Authentication Data definition

Sensitive Authentication Data means security related information used to authenticate Cardholders and authorise Card transactions. Sensitive Authentication Data elements include magnetic stripe data (PAVE, CVV, CVC, CID) PINs, PIN blocks and the three or four digit number security code found either on the front or on the back of a card (eg, MasterCard CVC2/ Visa CVV2);
Sensitive Authentication Data means security-related information (including but not limited to card validation codes/values, full track data (from the magnetic stripe or equivalent on a chip), PINs, and PIN blocks) used to authenticate cardholders and/or authorize payment card transactions that may be transmitted or processed (but not stored) as part of a payment transaction.
Sensitive Authentication Data means full track data (magnetic-stripe data or equivalent on a chip) and/or “CAV2/CVC2/CVV2/CID” and/or “PIN/PIN Block” and/or any other elements as defined by the PCI SSC from time to time (as those terms are commonly understood in the payment card industry).

More Definitions of Sensitive Authentication Data

Sensitive Authentication Data means the most current PCI Security Standards Council definition, as updated or amended from time to time. In determining whether a breach of this Security Attachment has occurred, “Sensitive Authentication Data” shall mean the definition of the PCI Security Standards Council in effect at the time of the breach.
Sensitive Authentication Data means full track data (magnetic-stripe data or equivalent on a chip) and/or “CAV2/CVC2/CV2/CID” and/or “PIN/PIN Block” (as those terms are commonly understood in the payment card industry).
Sensitive Authentication Data means the most current PCI Security Standards Council definition, as updated or amended from time to time. In determining whether a breach of this Security Attachmenthas occurred, “Sensitive Authentication Data” shall mean the definition of the PCI Security Standards Council in effect at the time of the breach.

  • Multi-factor Authentication means controlling access to computers and other IT resources by requiring two or more pieces of evidence that the user is who they claim to be. These pieces of evidence consist of something the user knows, such as a password or PIN; something the user has such as a key card, smart card, or physical token; and something the user is, a biometric identifier such as a fingerprint, facial scan, or retinal scan. “PIN” means a personal identification number, a series of numbers which act as a password for a device. Since PINs are typically only four to six characters, PINs are usually used in conjunction with another factor of authentication, such as a fingerprint.

  • Authentication of product history means, but is not limited to, identifying the purchasing source, the ultimate fate, and any intermediate handling of any component of a radiopharmaceutical.

  • Physical Notes means permanent certificated Notes in registered form issued in denominations of $1,000 principal amount and integral multiples thereof.

  • Regulation S Temporary Global Note means a temporary Global Note in the form of Exhibit A hereto, bearing the Global Note Legend, the Private Placement Legend and the Regulation S Temporary Global Note Legend and deposited with or on behalf of and registered in the name of the Depositary or its nominee, issued in a denomination equal to the outstanding principal amount of the Notes initially sold in reliance on Rule 903.

  • Authentication Order has the meaning specified in Section 2.01 hereof.
