Examples of Recognition of Prior Learning in a sentence
Applicants may enter the programme at various levels with Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Recognition of Prior Experiential learning (RPEL) in accordance with the University General Regulations.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is a method of assessment (leading to the award of credit) that considers whether learners can demonstrate that they can meet the assessment requirements for a unit through knowledge, understanding or skills they already possess, and so do not need to develop through a course of learning.
Any competencies previously acquired will be identified during PTR and the most appropriate qualification for that student to enrol in will be ascertained, including consideration of the likely job outcomes from the development of new competencies and skills (Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) or Credit Transfer).
