Part-Time Regular Employees definition

Part-Time Regular Employees. Employees who have successfully completed the trial service period and are scheduled to work at least twenty (20) hours per week. Part- time regular employees are eligible for City provided benefits as set forth in this Agreement. Part-time employees who work less than twenty (20) hours per week are not eligible for benefits, but are members of the bargaining unit.

Examples of Part-Time Regular Employees in a sentence

  • The Employer shall not hire or use Casual Employees to avoid the continuance, creation or filling of positions for or by Full-Time Regular Employees, Part-Time Regular Employees, or Full-Time Temporary Employees, as the case may be.

  • However, the existing benefits of Part-Time Regular Employees employed by Teton County on or before December 31, 2008 will not be changed.

  • Employees whose employment is sustained and continuing, and who work a regular weekly schedule of less than 30 hours, are considered Part-Time Regular Employees.

  • Part-Time Regular Employees: Vacation credit shall accrue to a part-time employee at a rate proportionate to that of a full-time employee.

  • Part-Time Regular Employees may be eligible for PERSI retirement benefits, but are not eligible for other benefits provided to Regular Employees.

Related to Part-Time Regular Employees

  • Part-Time Employees means employees employed on a permanent basis, but obligated to work less than a full (i.e., forty-hour) work week.

  • Regular Part-Time Employee means an employee who is appointed to a regularly scheduled position but works less than full-time. A regular part-time employee is entitled to all benefits outlined in the agreement on a pro rata basis, except where otherwise specified.

  • Regular Employee is one who works on a full-time or part-time basis on regularly scheduled shifts of a continuing nature:

  • Designated Employees means a person occupying any of the following position in the Company:

  • Active Employees means all employees employed on the Closing Date by Seller for its business who are employed exclusively in Seller’s business as currently conducted, including employees on temporary leave of absence, including family medical leave, military leave, temporary disability or sick leave, but excluding employees on long-term disability leave.

  • Business Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 4.10(a).

  • Part-time employee means an employee who is normally required to work less than the basic hours of work.

  • Transferred Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 6.4(a).

  • Public employees retirement system means the retirement plan and program

  • Newly hired employee or “New Hire” means any employee, whether permanent, full-time, or part-time, hired by the Office and who is still employed as of the date of new employee orientation. It also includes all employees who are or have been previously employed by the Office and whose current position has placed them in the bargaining unit represented by CSEA. For those latter employees, for purposes of this article only, the “date of hire” is the date upon which the employees’ employment status changed as such that the employee was placed in the CSEA unit.

  • Living Wage Employee means any and all employees of the Contractor and all Subcontractors of the Contractor that perform any part of the Work on a property owned by or leased to the City, including all streets, sidewalks and other public rights of way, for at least one consecutive hour, but excluding Students, volunteers and employees of Social Enterprises;

  • Retained Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 6.1.1.

  • Company Employees shall have the meaning set forth in Section 6.10(a).

  • Seller Employees shall have the meaning ascribed thereto in Section 7.4(a) hereof.

  • Casual Employees means employees who are employed on a casual basis and includes persons who are employed for periods not exceeding five days at any one time.

  • Hired Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 6.1(a).

  • Transferred Employee has the meaning set forth in Section 6.01(a).

  • Excluded Employees shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5.1.2.

  • Part-time employment means any employment or combination of one or more employments in a civil division in which an individual works fifty percent (50%) or less of the time prescribed as the standard work week by the governing body or other appropriate authority of the civil division or where the employee earns not more than one-half (1/2) of the rate assigned to the position if the position has been allocated to a graded salary schedule.

  • Business Employee means any individual employed by Seller in or in connection with the Business.

  • Qualifying Employee means any employee of Managing Agent or Parent or any of their respective subsidiaries who is and has been an employee of Managing Agent or Parent or any of their respective subsidiaries for at least thirty-six (36) months.

  • Eligible Employees means each employee of the Company or an Affiliate.

  • Seller Employee Plan means any plan, program, policy, practice, Contract or other arrangement providing for compensation, severance, termination pay, deferred compensation, performance awards, stock or stock-related awards, fringe benefits or other employee benefits or remuneration of any kind, whether written, unwritten or otherwise, funded or unfunded, including each “employee benefit plan,” within the meaning of Section 3(3) of ERISA (whether or not ERISA is applicable to such plan), that is or has been maintained, contributed to, or required to be contributed to, by the Seller or any Seller Affiliate for the benefit of any Seller Employee, or with respect to which the Seller or any Seller Affiliate has or may have any liability or obligation, except such definition shall not include any Seller Employee Agreement.

  • Continuing Employees shall have the meaning set forth in Section 6.9(a).

  • Current Employees has the meaning set forth in Section 6.4(a).

  • Tipped employee means any employee engaged in an occupation in which s/he customarily and regularly receives more than $30 per month in tips. Tips include amounts designated as a tip by credit card customers on their charge slips. Nothing in this rule prevents an employer from requiring employees to share or allocate such tips or gratuities on a pre-established basis among other employees who customarily and regularly receive tips. Employer-required sharing of tips with employees who do not customarily and regularly receive tips, such as management or food preparers, or deduction of credit card processing fees from tipped employees, shall nullify allowable tip credits towards the minimum wage.
