Night Shift Differential definition

Night Shift Differential shall apply to hours worked between 7:00PM and 7:00AM, except not applicable for hours when Weekend Premium is received; o “Weekend Premium” shall apply to hours worked beginning at Night Shift Friday (e.g., 7:00PM) and conclude start of Night Shift Sunday (e.g., 7:00PM).

Night Shift Differential. Night Shift Differential" shall be defined as an amount of money payable, in addition to the basic wage, for those Officers, both full-time and part-time, performing duty from the designated time set by the duty roster as the beginning of the night shift, which occurs from 5:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. Night Shift Differential shall be payable for only those hours assigned as the regular eight (8) or ten (10) hour night shift, and shall not piggy- back on Call Back time and the like.
