New York Control Area definition

New York Control Area or “NYCA” means the Control Area that is under the operational control of the NYISO, as defined in the NYISO Tariffs. “New York State Reliability Council” or “NYSRC” means the organization that promotes and preserves the Reliability of electric service on the New York Transmission System by developing and maintaining NYSRC Reliability Rules which are complied with by the NYISO, and for monitoring and assuring compliance with such rules.
New York Control Area shall have the same meaning as in the Independent System Operator Agreement establishing the New York ISO (as defined below).
New York Control Area or “NYCA” means the Control Area that is under the operational control of the NYISO, as defined in the NYISO Tariffs.

  • NYISO’s voltage schedules shall treat all sources of reactive power in the New York Control Area in an equitable and not unduly discriminatory manner.

New York Control Area has the meaning set forth in Section 1.14 of the NYISO Open Access Transmission Tariff, as amended or recodified.

New York Control Area. “(“NYCA”) shall mean the Control Area that is under the control of the ISO which includes transmission facilities listed in the ISO/TO Agreement Appendices A-1 and A-2, as amended from time-to time, and Generation located outside the NYS Power System that is subject to protocols (e.g., telemetry signal biasing) which allow the ISO and other Control Area operator(s) to treat some or all of that Generation as though it were part of the NYS Power System.
