Instructional materials means all materials that are designed for use by pupils and their teachers as a learning resource and help pupils to acquire facts, skills, or opinions or to develop cognitive processes. Instructional materials may be printed or nonprinted, and may include textbooks, technology-based materials, other educational materials, and tests.
Instructional materials are those original materials a faculty member creates to perform his or her assignment including but not limited to syllabi, lectures, student exercises, tests, classroom activities, illustrations, recordings, and presentations. Instructional materials may be created by a faculty member for delivery through any instructional medium.

Instructional materials means relevant instructional materials for student instruction, including, but not limited to, textbooks, consumable workbooks, laboratory equipment, library books, and other similar materials.

To the extent that any Services Instructional Materials are newly created or adapted by CUNY and/or paid for by Agency under this Agreement, Agency shall have a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive, and irrevocable license to reproduce, publish, or otherwise use, and to authorize other city agencies and government entities as well as community-based organizations partnering with Agency to use them for non-commercial, public purposes only, in connection with the City’s responsibilities and consistent with its authority under the City Charter or other law or as otherwise specified in the Scope of Work and Payment Schedule, attached hereto and made a part hereof as Exhibit A.. In preparing any of its own materials based on Services Instructional Materials, Agency will give CUNY and the principal author(s) of the Services Instructional Materials appropriate credit.
