Independent Vendor definition

Independent Vendor means an Automotive Repair Shop that has either a single location or multiple locations in New York, and possibly in other states, with which the Contractor has a formal business relationship, and does not meet the definition of National Account Vendor. Independent Vendors performing repair and maintenance services under the Contract are independent contractors and are neither contractors, subcontractors nor agents of Contractor.

Independent Vendor. Vendor is an independent contractor of the University, not a partner, agent or joint venture of the University and neither Party shall hold itself out contrary to these terms by advertising or otherwise, nor shall either party be bound by any representation, act or omission whatsoever of the other.
