HIPAA Rules mean the rules adopted by and promulgated by the US Department of Health and Human Services (“HHS”) under HIPAA and other relevant federal laws currently in force or subsequently made, such as the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Heath Act (“HITECH”), as enumerated under 45 CFR Parts 160, 162, and 164, including without limitation any and all additional or modified regulations thereof.
