Training Institution means the Grantee.
Receiving Institution The college or university where a transfer student plans to enroll and to apply previously earned credit toward a degree program.
Participating institution means an "institution" as defined in KRS 164.001 that actively participates in the federal Pell Grant program, executes a contract with the authority on terms the authority deems necessary or appropriate for the administration of its programs, and:
Qualifying Institution means the United States office of a commercial bank or trust company organized under the laws of the United States of America or a political subdivision thereof, or a foreign bank, having assets $10,000,000,000 (net of reserves) and a credit rating on its long-term senior unsecured debt of at least "A" from S&P and "A2" from Moody's.
Sending institution means the institution of higher education of most recent previous enrollment by a transfer student at which transferable academic credit was earned.
Academic term means a division of the school year during which a course of studies is offered, and includes a semester, quarter, or single consolidated summer term as defined by the institution.
Selling Institution The entity obligated to make payments to the Issuer under the terms of a Participation Interest.
banking institution means a bank, bank and trust company, trust company, savings bank, private bank, or a national banking association, organized and doing business under the provisions of any law of this state, or of any other state of the United States, or under the provisions of any law of the United States of America.
Submitting Institution An organization who submitted a genomic dataset to an NIH-designated data repository (e.g., dbGaP).
Religious institution means
Eligible postsecondary institution means an institution as defined in Iowa Code section 261C.3.
Emergency medical services personnel means that term as defined in section 20904 of the public health code, 1978 PA 368, MCL 333.20904.
Supervising physician means any physician licensed under Iowa Code chapter 148, 150, or 150A. The supervising physician is responsible for medical direction of emergency medical care personnel when such personnel are providing emergency medical care.
Lending institution Any insurance company, federally insured commercial or savings bank, national banking association, savings and loan association, credit union, employees’ welfare, pension or retirement fund or system, corporate profit sharing or pension trust, college or university, endowment fund, real estate investment trust, or other institutional lender or financial enterprise, including, without limitation, any corporation qualified to be treated for federal tax purposes as a real estate investment trust, having a net worth of at least $50,000,000 acting on its own behalf or as agent on behalf of other Lending Institutions.
Emergency medical care provider means an individual who has been trained to provide emergency and nonemergency medical care at the first responder, EMT-basic, EMT-intermediate, EMT-paramedic, paramedic specialist or other certification levels recognized by the department before 1984 and who has been issued a certificate by the department.
Academic year means the period of twelve months beginning on 1st January, 1st April, 1st July or 1st September according to whether the course in question begins in the winter, the spring, the summer or the autumn respectively but if students are required to begin attending the course during August or September and to continue attending through the autumn, the academic year of the course is to be considered to begin in the autumn rather than the summer;
Member Institution means a university that is a member of CUSC/CCREU.
Participating Orthotic Provider means an Orthotic Provider who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.
Academic Board means the Academic Board of the University College established under paragraph 13;
Qualified Medical Child Support Order means a Medical Child Support Order which creates (including assignment of rights) or recognizes an Alternate Recipient's right to receive benefits to which a Participant or Qualified Beneficiary is eligible under this Plan, and has been determined by the Plan Administrator to meet the qualification requirements as outlined under “Procedures” of this provision.
Participating local government means a local government
Qualified Institution means a depository institution organized under the laws of the United States of America or any state thereof or incorporated under the laws of a foreign jurisdiction with a branch or agency located in the United States of America or any state thereof and subject to supervision and examination by federal or state banking authorities that at all times has the Required Rating and, in the case of any such institution organized under the laws of the United States of America, whose deposits are insured by the FDIC.
Qualified medical provider means the same as that term is defined in Section 26-61a-102.
Participating Financial Institution means a financial institution participating in Interac e-Transfer Services, Online Payment Services, or Western Union Services, as the case may be.
Minority institution means an institution of higher education meeting the requirements of Section 365(3) of the Higher Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 1067k), including a Hispanic-serving institution of higher education, as defined in Section 502(a) of the Act (20 U.S.C. 1101a).
traditional leader means the leader of a traditional authority that had been identified by the MEC in terms of section 81 (2) of the Local Government: Municipal Structures Act to participate in the proceedings of the council.
