Field Service definition

Field Service means installation, inspection, servicing, reconditioning, start-up, alteration, repair, replacement, or correction of Equipment, or a part thereof, or assistance and supervision with respect thereto, as better defined in the work sheet to be filled in and signed every day after such service has been performed by Seller or weekly as agreed between the Parties;
Field Service. If field service at the request of the purchaser is rendered and the difficulty is found not to be with TIE DOWN's product, the purchaser shall pay the time and expense (at the prevailing rate at the time of service) of seller's field representative(s). Charges for service, labor and other expenses that have been incurred by the purchaser, its customer or agent without prior written authorization of TIE DOWN will not be accepted. TIE DOWN EXTENDS NO WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ON PRODUCTS NOT MANUFACTURED BY TIE DOWN OR TO TIE DOWN'S DESIGN SPECIFICATION, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO SUCH ITEMS AS NON-TIE DOWN TIRES, BRAKES, ACTUATORS, BEARINGS, HOSE AND TUBING. PURCHASER'S RECOURSE SHALL BE LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTY OF THE RESPECTIVE MANUFACTURERS. THIS WARRANTY EXCLUDES ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR ANY PURPOSE. THIS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER NOR EXTEND TO INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE. Field Service. Any applicable field service, technical support, installation supervision, or related service shall be governed by a separate written agreement. Back Orders: Seller reserves the right to cancel back orders. Return of Products: Written authorization is required from Seller prior to any return shipment, which may be granted or denied by Seller in its sole discretion. In certain circumstance no more than ten percent (10%) of any one item may be eligible for return. Custom colors, special orders, or limited-shelf-life materials are not returnable. Likewise, excess product due to Buyer’s overestimate of requirements or need is not subject to return. The acceptance and fees associated with all U.S. returns will be based upon the Seller’s Returned Goods Authorization, as amended from time and which can be accessed at xxxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxx.xxx/about/policies/rga-usa-policy/ and is incorporated herein by reference. Non-U.S. returns may have additional terms and conditions as designated by Seller. Returns must be shipped in their original unopened cartons Claims: Claims resulting from losses, shortages or damage in transit must be acknowledged on the delivery papers at receipt. Buyer shall further promptly notify Seller of any delivery of any damaged product(s) purchased from Seller, or of any complaint whatsoever Buyer may have concerning delivery. Xxxxx’s failure to give such notice and to note such damage constitutes a waiver of any claim against Seller relating to the damaged product. Any claim for any other cause not specifically set forth in these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed waived and released by Xxxxx unless made in writing within five (5) business days after Xxxxx’s receipt of the product(s).

Field Service. We have an in-house technician available to field-service cafeteria tables should the need arise. This is a complimentary service offered to our customers if the need arises.
