Definitions (As used in this Document)Extra Duty Pay: At the University of Louisville Extra Duty Pay is a specific form of internal moonlighting whereby a resident or fellow voluntarily assumes additional call or service responsibilities within the parameters of his or her training program for additional compensation.
The request must follow the Guidelines for Extra Duty Pay for Certificated Administrators (Attachment G) established by the Human Resources Division.
Extra Duty Pay – An employee may be paid an amount in addition to his/her base salary for service in addition to the regular work schedule on a special work assignment.
The School-Board approved Stipend and Extra Duty Pay Schedule shall be used to compensate all substitute teachers whether paid from local, state or federal grant funds.
Extra-curricular duties shall be voluntary and at the rates specified in Appendix A-5: Extra Duty Pay Schedule/Student Activities Assignments.
The salary schedules and salary classification requirements of those serving in special assignments (extra duties) shall be paid in accordance with the schedules included in Appendix A-5 (Extra Duty Pay Schedule/Student Activities Assignments and Curriculum and Leadership Positions).
Extra Duty Pay – Employees on the Teacher Placement Table who have assignments beyond the regular day during the school year (as determined by the principal) shall be paid at the standard rate of $25/hour for the additional time worked.
