Electric System Upgrades means any Network Upgrades, Distribution Upgrades, Deliverability Upgrades, or Interconnection Facilities that are determined to be necessary by the CAISO or Transmission/Distribution Owner, as applicable, to physically and electrically interconnect the Project to the Transmission/Distribution Owner’s electric system for receipt of Energy at the Point of Interconnection (as defined in the CAISO Tariff) if connecting to the CAISO Grid, or the Interconnection Point, if the Transmission/Distribution Owner’s electric system is not part of the CAISO Grid.
Electric System Upgrades means any Network Upgrades, Distribution Upgrades, or Interconnection Facilities that are determined to be necessary by the CAISO or Participating Transmission Owner, as applicable, to physically and electrically interconnect the Project to the Participating Transmission Owner’s electric system for receipt of Energy at the Point of Interconnection (as defined in the CAISO Tariff) if connecting to the CAISO Grid, or the Interconnection Point, if connecting to a part of the Participating TO’s electric system that is not part of the CAISO Grid.

Examples of Electric System Upgrades in a sentence
To the extent not otherwise provided for in this Agreement, in the event that Seller is compensated by a third party for any Products produced by the Project, including, but not limited to, compensation for Resource Adequacy or Green Attributes, Seller shall remit all such compensation directly to Buyer; provided that for avoidance of doubt, nothing herein precludes Seller from retaining credits related to Electric System Upgrades contemplated in Section 3.1(h)(i).
