Credit Reference Bureau definition

Credit Reference Bureau means a credit reference bureau duly licensed under the Banking Act pursuant to the Banking (Credit Reference Bureau) Regulations, 2013, as amended, revised or promulgated from time to time, to inter alia, collect and facilitate the sharing of customer credit information;
Credit Reference Bureau means a bureau duly licensed to collect and facilitate the sharing of borrower’s information;
Credit Reference Bureau means a credit reference bureau duly licensed under the Banking Act pursuant to the Banking (Credit Reference Bureau) Regulations to inter alia, collect and facilitate the sharing of customer credit information;

  • No information other than that referred to in the above subsection shall be divulged by any institution to the Credit Reference Bureau without customers’ consent.

  • Any customer of an MFB has a right to know his credit status forwarded to Credit Reference Bureau.

  • Where (i) the credit reference bureau; or (ii) an institution, discloses to an institution or its officer, the Credit Reference Bureau or its officer, the information referred to in sub -section (a) and (b) in good faith, in the performance of their duties, no right of action shall accrue to or against the customer for breach of any duty of confidentiality.


More Definitions of Credit Reference Bureau

Credit Reference Bureau or “CRB” means a credit reference bureau duly licensed under the Banking Act pursuant to the Banking (Credit Reference Bureau) Regulations, 2013, as amended, revised or promulgated from time to time, to inter alia, collect and facilitate the sharing of customer credit information.
