Clinical Activities definition

Clinical Activities mean any one or more of the activities associated with drug testing in humans, including trial design and execution, payment of investigators’, institutional, and contractors’ fees, drug distribution and accountability, analytical testing, data management, statistical analysis, adverse event reporting, and scientific publication, performed in pursuit of the Development and Commercialization of a Product.
Clinical Activities means those public health functions performed at Site by CCDPH in response to or in preparation for a public health related event. Clinical Activities may include, but are not limited to, physical assessments, epidemiological investigations, minor medical treatments, and the dispensing or administration of medications and vaccinations, including medications and vaccinations made available under an Emergency Use Authorization.
Clinical Activities means authorization to provide one or more patient care services in the Hospital as an Allied Health Professional under the supervision of a Staff Member.

Examples of Clinical Activities in a sentence

  • Such tests may be administered upon a finding of reasonable suspicion that a Student has used Drugs or Alcohol while engaged in Clinical Activities.

  • A Student who has been sent for a Drug and Alcohol test shall be suspended from participation in Clinical Activities until the results are returned.

  • No Student may report to the premises of a Clinical Program or remain on duty, or engage in any Clinical Activities, while under the influence of or impaired by Alcohol or Drugs, to any degree.

  • If the results are negative, the Student shall be permitted to resume his or her regular Clinical Activities immediately.

  • In order to assure compliance with this Policy and as a condition of continuing to participate in Clinical Activities and/or a Clinical Program, Students are required to cooperate with the procedures outlined herein, including Drug and Alcohol testing.

  • Following successful completion of any such treatment plan and/or upon certification by an appropriate substance abuse counselor that the Student is fit to return to Clinical Activities, the Student shall be permitted to resume full participation in the CON curriculum.

  • The use or possession of prescribed or over-the-counter drugs and/or drug paraphernalia is not prohibited by this Policy, if legally obtained, used for the purpose for which it was prescribed or manufactured, and if taken at the prescribed or authorized dosage; provided that use of the drug and/or drug paraphernalia does not interfere with the safe and efficient performance of the Student’s Clinical Activities.

  • No Student engaged in Clinical Activities shall use, consume, transport, possess or sell Alcohol, Drugs or Drug Paraphernalia while on the site of a Clinical Program, or while engaged in Clinical Activities.

  • As a condition for being considered for reinstatement to a Clinical Program and/or participation in Clinical Activities, Students must consent to release to the CON the findings, reports and/or recommendations of any drug and alcohol counselors, physicians, psychiatrists, psychologist, etc.

  • This policy is not intended to apply to the use or possession of prescribed or over-the- counter drugs and/or drug paraphernalia, if legally obtained, used for the purpose for which it was prescribed or manufactured, and if taken at the prescribed or authorized dosage; provided that use of the drug and/or drug paraphernalia does not interfere with the safe and efficient performance of the Student’s Clinical Activities.


More Definitions of Clinical Activities

Clinical Activities means, with respect to each Agreement Product, any activities performed in connection with the preparation and performance of a human, clinical trial conducted in anticipation of the submission of any Filings, including without limitation trial design, investigator selection and training, trial monitoring, data collection and management, biostatistical analysis and data reporting.
Clinical Activities means the performance of any human clinical trial using a Specified Product, and manufacturing and development work pertaining to such Specified Product and its therapeutic use subsequent to the commencement of such clinical trial but prior to commencement of Commercial Activities.

Related to Clinical Activities

  • Development Activities means those activities which are normally undertaken for the development, construction, repair, renovation, rehabilitation or conversion of buildings for residential purposes, including the acquisition of property;

  • Medical Affairs Activities means, with respect to any country or other jurisdiction in the Territory, the coordination of medical information requests and field based medical scientific liaisons with respect to Licensed Compounds or Licensed Products, including activities of medical scientific liaisons and the provision of medical information services with respect to a Licensed Compound or Licensed Product.

  • Commercial Activities means activities conducted on a commercial basis.

  • Development Activity means any activity defined as Development which will necessitate a Floodplain Development Permit. This includes buildings, structures, and non-structural items, including (but not limited to) fill, bulkheads, piers, pools, docks, landings, ramps, and erosion control/stabilization measures.

  • Extracurricular activities means: a voluntary activity sponsored by the school or local education agency or an organization sanctioned by the local education agency.   • School activities means any activity sponsored by the school including, but not limited to, classroom work, library activities, physical education classes, official assemblies and other similar gatherings, school athletic contests, band concerts, school plays and other theatrical productions, and in-school lunch periods.

  • Commercialization or “Commercialize” means activities directed to marketing, promoting, research and development as required, manufacturing for sale, offering for sale, distributing, importing or selling a product, including sub-licensing or sub-contracting of these activities.

  • Clinical Studies means Xxxxx 0, Xxxxx 0, Xxxxx 0, Xxxxx 3, and such other tests and studies in human subjects that are required by Applicable Law, or otherwise recommended by the Regulatory Authorities, to obtain or maintain Regulatory Approvals for a Licensed Product for one (1) or more indications, including tests or studies that are intended to expand the Product Labeling for such Licensed Product with respect to such indication.

  • Clinical means having a significant relationship, whether real or potential, direct or indirect, to the actual rendering or outcome of dental care, the practice of dentistry, or the quality of dental care being rendered to a patient;

  • Collaborative drug therapy management means participation by an authorized pharmacist and a physician in the management of drug therapy pursuant to a written community practice protocol or a written hospital practice protocol.
