Calendar Year definition

Calendar Year means each successive period of twelve (12) calendar months commencing on January 1 and ending on December 31, except that the first Calendar Year of the Term shall commence on the Effective Date and end on December 31 of the year in which the Effective Date occurs and the last Calendar Year of the Term shall commence on January 1 of the year in which the Term ends and end on the last day of the Term.

  • The FICA and Medicare years are on a calendar year, not a school year and start when the Exchange Teacher arrives in the U.S. Example: Exchange Teachers arriving in School Year 2022-2023 are exempt from FICA Deductions for the first two calendar years: January-December 2022 is Calendar Year 1.
