Building Area definition

Building Area means the greatest horizontal area of a building within the outside surface of the exterior walls.
Building Area means and refer to the maximum horizontal projected area of the principal and accessory building, excluding open steps or terraces, porches without roofs not exceeding one story in height, or architectural appurtenances projecting not more than two feet.
Building Area means the only area upon which the erection and use of buildings and structures shall be permitted.

More Definitions of Building Area

Building Area means the adjusted area of a building expressed in square feet and reflected on the Tax Roll or, in the event such information is not reflected or determined not to be accurately reflected on the Tax Roll, that area determined by the City.
