Boarding or Lodging House definition

Boarding or Lodging House. , means a dwelling, containing not more than four guest rooms used or maintained for accommodation of the public, in which the owner or head lessee supplies, for hire or gain, lodgings with or without meals for three or more persons but does not include any other establishment otherwise defined or classified herein.
Boarding or Lodging House means a Single-Detached dwelling converted for gain or profit containing rooms for two or more persons where meals may or may not be served, not including the occupant and his or her immediate family, but does not include a hotel, motel, restaurant, café, coffee shop, drive-in refreshment stand or other similar use.
Boarding or Lodging House means a lot or building or part thereof in which accommodation for the public is supplied in guest rooms, where means may or may not be provided, and where located in a R1, R2, R3 and R4 Zone, means a private dwelling in which no more than four guest rooms are available to the public for accommodation, but does not include any other use otherwise defined in this By-law.

Boarding or Lodging House means a dwelling in which the proprietor supplies for gain lodging with or without meals, but does not include a hotel, hospital, children’s home, home for the aged or other establishment otherwise classified or defined in this By-Law;

Boarding or Lodging House means a building other than a hotel, where for compensation, and by arrangement, lodging is provided for three (3) or more persons.
Boarding or Lodging House means a residential building which is used to provide lodging units for hire or gain directly or indirectly to persons with or without meals in which each lodger does not have access to all habitable areas of the buildings. A lodging house shall not include a nursing home, hotel, motel, hostel, group home, bed and breakfast establishment or emergency care establishment.
