Alternative Benefits definition

Alternative Benefits means either:
Alternative Benefits means Covered Benefits that are provided by a program, plan or arrangement other than this Plan. Accordingly, for example, an “Alternative Cash Severance Benefit” means a Cash Severance Benefit that is an Alternative Benefit; an “Alternative Continued Medical Benefit” means a Continued Medical Benefit that is an Alternative Benefit; and an “Alternative Continued Life Insurance Benefit” means a Continued Life Insurance Benefit that is an Alternative Benefit. Notwithstanding the foregoing, a benefit that is designated an Alternative Benefit in a Participant’s Participation Notice shall be deemed to be an Alternative Benefit with respect to such Participant, and a benefit that is designated as not an Alternative Benefit in a Participant’s Participation Notice shall not be deemed to be an Alternative Benefit with respect to such Participant. Any benefit provided to a Participant other than by this Plan which is not addressed in the Participant’s Participation Notice shall be deemed to be an Alternative Benefit if such benefit is described in the first sentence of this Section 2(a).
Alternative Benefits means an award granted by the Committee under the Comerica Incorporated 2006 Amended and Restated Long-Term Incentive Plan, as it may be amended and/or restated from time to time, or its successor plan, to a Participant where the Committee, in its sole discretion, expressly grants such award in lieu of an award earned but not paid for a particular performance period under the Comerica Incorporated 2016 Management Incentive Plan, as it may be amended and/or restated from time to time, or a successor or predecessor plan.

Examples of Alternative Benefits in a sentence

  • The Member may qualify for Alternative Benefits, at the Company’s discretion, based on various criteria, including diagnosis, severity, length of illness, and proposed or rendered treatment.

  • An Employee must complete an Alternative Benefits Election form in order to access this benefit.

  • Employees who work 37.5 hours per week: All employees, excluding those who elect Alternative Benefits, who work 37.5 hours per week and the dependents of those employees shall be covered by health and dental insurance plans, unless they have other insurance and choose to opt out of an LAWV plan (if permitted by the plan document, and subject to any maximum participation rate required) after being provided with full information regarding those LAWV health and dental insurance plans.

  • If Alternative Benefits are offered and accepted, then this Agreement shall not terminate as a result of the University Notice but instead shall remain in full force and effect under the same terms and conditions set forth herein except that the Benefits shall be replaced with the Alternative Benefits.

  • Upon Provider and Sponsor agreeing upon the Alternative Benefits, Exhibit A to this Agreement shall be replaced with a new Exhibit A to reflect the Alternative Benefits.

  • Health Benefit Allowance amounts not exhausted for the purchase of benefits under the Alternative Benefits and Compensation Plan will be paid to the employee in taxable cash or the employee may choose to allocate said monthly sum toward, life insurance, Flex Spending Dependent Care, Flex Spending Medical, Flex Spending Commuter Benefits, and other benefits specified in the program.

  • Gross earnings must meet the threshold test $2,000 individual $3,000 couple DSHP SSI Child or Adult n/a X State Plan Mandatory Medicaid Eligibility Groups Description FPL Resource Standard Medicaid Eligibility Group (MEG) Retroactive Eligibility Procedures DSHP Benefit Package DSHP- Plus Benefit Package* Alternative Benefits Plan Package for section 1619(b) eligibility.

  • If there are any other modifications to this Agreement as a result of the Alternative Benefits being substituted for the Benefits, the Parties will execute an amendment to this Agreement setting forth each such modification.

  • Notwithstanding any other provision herein, whether either party agrees to Alternative Benefits or an amendment to this Agreement is within the party’s sole discretion.

More Definitions of Alternative Benefits

Alternative Benefits means the benefits set out in Schedule 2;
Alternative Benefits means any severance-type benefits provided by any Written Arrangement.
