Access Designee definition

Access Designee. The entity or entities, or person(s) as may be designated by the Franchising Authority, and pursuant to the terms herein, for the purpose of operating and managing the Access channel on the cable television system in accordance with 47 United States Code 531 and the terms herein. Cable Communications Policy Act of 1984 ("CCPA" or "Cable Act"): Public Law No. 98-549, 98 Stat. 2779 (1984), amending the Communications Act of 1934, and effective on December 29, 1984, as further amended by the Cable Television Consumer Protection and Competition Act of 1992, Public Law No. 000-000 000 Stat. 1460 (1992) and the Telecommunications Act of 1996, Public Law No. 104-458, 110 Stat. 56 (1996).
Access Designee shall have the definition set forth in Section 2.1(a).
Access Designee means the entity, as designated by the Issuing Authority from time to time, with responsibility for producing and cablecasting Public, Educational and Government Access programming to cable service customers within the town of Sturbridge.

  • The Issuing Authority and the Licensee herein acknowledge and agree that any PEG Access Designee is not a party to this License and that any provisions herein that may affect a PEG Access Designee are not intended to create any rights on behalf of any PEG Access Designee.

  • An Access Channel available for the use of local educational institutions in the Town, as well as the PEG Access Designee.

  • The Issuing Authority and/or PEG Access Designee shall not use the PEG Access channels to provide for-profit commercial programming.

  • An Access Channel made available by the Licensee for use of the Issuing Authority and/or its PEG Access Designee to present non- commercial governmental programming.

  • Nothing in this Section 5.12 shall prohibit the Issuing Authority and/or PEG Access Designee from having memberships, sponsorships, underwriting or acknowledgements (such as underwriting and acknowledgements accepted by PBS), to the extent not otherwise prohibited by applicable law and regulation.

Access Designee means the municipal instrumentality and/or nonprofit, non-municipal private corporate entity, as determined by the Issuing Authority subject to and in accordance with applicable law, to operate the Public, Educational and/or Governmental Access Channels subject to and in accordance with 47 U.S.C. 531 and the terms of this Renewal License.

  • Access Device means a card, plate, code, account number, per- sonal identification number, electronic serial number, mobile identi- fication number, or other telecommunications service, equipment, or instrument identifier or means of account access that alone or in conjunction with another device may be used to:

A Client Application installed in a Windows terminal server environment (e.g. Citrix or Microsoft Remote Desktop Platform) is a Server Application.

  • Access control means a system for allowing only approved individuals to have unescorted access to the security zone and for ensuring that all other individuals are subject to escorted access.

  • Contractor Commercially Sensitive Information means the information listed in the Contractor Commercial Sensitive Information Annex to the Contract being information notified by the Contractor to the Authority which is acknowledged by the Authority as being commercially sensitive information.

  • Access Channel means any Channel, or portion thereof, designated for Access purposes or otherwise made available to facilitate or transmit Access programming or services.

  • LOCKHEED XXXXXX Procurement Representative means a person authorized by LOCKHEED XXXXXX'x cognizant procurement organization to administer and/or execute this Contract.
