Xxxx Leave Accrual. 1. Unit members assigned to a 40-hour work schedule accrue eighty (80) hours of sick leave per year (3.08 hours per pay period) up to a maximum of 2080 hours.

Xxxx Leave Accrual. 1. An employee, except as otherwise provided herein, shall accrue sick leave at the rate of .0616 hours for each hour on pay status during a monthly pay period. An employee exempt from overtime by the Fair Labor Standards Act (29 U.S.C. Section 213) shall accrue sick leave at the rate of 1-1/3 days per month for each full monthly pay period. Xxxx leave accrual from year to year shall be unlimited.
Xxxx Leave Accrual. Faculty members employed on adjunct and/or quarterly contracts shall earn sick leave based on their contracted FTEF multiplied by seven (7) for each month they are in active teaching status. At no time shall the total hours of sick leave earned per month exceed seven (7) hours. Adjunct faculty shall accumulate such leave at the rate of one (1) day (prorated) for each calendar month during which they are employed for a contractual day. Adjunct faculty sick leave will accumulate from quarter to quarter. The College will maintain an individual’s sick leave balance for three years following active employment. Active employment for purposes of sick leave accrual for adjunct faculty is teaching at least one class every academic year. Adjunct faculty must petition for reinstatement of their accrued sick leave balance within three (3) years after leaving active employment with Lower Columbia College. Xxxx Leave Accrual. 1. A full-time Employee who has accrued sick leave at the University shall, for purposes of this Agreement, be credited with such accrual as of the effective date of this Agreement. If the accrual exceeds 300 work days, the employee shall earn no further sick leave until the employee’s use of sick leave reduces the employee’s accrual below the maximum of 300 work days specified in the section below.
