Volunteer’s non compliance with the terms and conditions detailed in this Agreement and under “Volunteer Commitment and Responsibilities” represents a breach of agreement, nullifying this Agreement and leading to termination of Volunteer service.

  • Volunteers The use of volunteers to perform bargaining unit work, as covered by this agreement, shall not be expanded beyond the extent of existing practice as of June 1, 1986. The Hospital shall submit to the Union, at three (3) month intervals, the number of volunteers for the current month and the number of hours worked and the duties performed.

  • Volunteering 58.1 The parties recognise the community partnerships between ACT Government agencies and volunteers and the valuable contribution to the ACT community that volunteers make.

  • Volunteer A person who performs a service willingly and without pay.

  • Volunteer Leave Subject to operational requirements as determined by the Employer and with an advance notice of at least five (5) working days, the employee shall be granted, in each fiscal year, one (1) day of leave with pay to work as a volunteer for a charitable or community organization or activity, other than for activities related to the Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign. The leave will be scheduled at times convenient both to the employee and the Employer. Under no circumstances shall there be carry-over of such leave to another fiscal year.

  • Volunteer Firefighting Leave Leave without pay will be granted when an employee who is a volunteer firefighter is called to duty to respond to a fire, natural disaster or medical emergency.

  • Volunteer Payments You must not, except at your own cost, voluntarily make any payments, assume any obligations, or incur any other expenses except first aid to others at the time of bodily injury.

  • VOLUNTEERS AND STUDENT WORKERS The Employer will utilize volunteers and student workers only to the extent they supplement and do not supplant bargaining unit employees. Volunteers and student workers will not supervise bargaining unit employees.

  • Volunteer Agreement I understand that my services are donated to Mayo Clinic Health System without promise, expectation, or receipt of compensation or future employment. I also understand that volunteering should not be viewed as a means of obtaining permanent employment at Mayo Clinic Health System. I agree to comply with all policies and guidelines of Mayo Clinic Health System and its volunteer program. I attest that I have reviewed, understand, and have been provided the opportunity to ask questions about the material in this document.

  • Religious Objection Any employee who is a member of and adheres to established and traditional tenets or teachings of a bona fide religion, body, or sect which has historically held conscientious objections to joining or financially supporting labor organizations shall not be required to join or financially support the Union as a condition of employment. Such an employee shall, in lieu of dues and fees, pay sums equal to such dues and fees to a non-religious charitable fund. These religious objections and decisions as to which fund will be used must be documented and declared in writing to the Union. Any employee exercising their right of religious objection must provide the Union with a receipt of payment to an appropriate charity on a monthly basis.
