Visa Status. All Residents who are international medical school graduates shall be solely responsible for maintaining U.S. citizenship, permanent resident status, or a valid J-1 visa [including a current and valid ECFMG Certificate of Eligibility (Form IAP 66)] at all times during the term of this Agreement. Upon request of the Hospital the Resident shall provide proof of the foregoing to the Hospital [e.g., birth certificate, passport, naturalization papers, valid visa, valid ECFMG Certificate of Eligibility (Form IAP 66), etc.].
Visa Status. If Visiting Scholar/Affiliated Faculty is not a citizen or Legal Permanent Resident of the U.S., he/she may not conduct the activities covered under this Agreement in B-1 (Visitor for Business) or B-2 (Visitor for Pleasure) status or under the Visa Waiver Program. NJIT will sponsor Visiting Scholar/Affiliated Faculty for J-1 status in the appropriate category, if Visiting Scholar/Affiliated Faculty is eligible for the same. If Visiting Scholar/Affiliated Faculty arrives at NJIT in B-1/B-2 status or under the Visa Waiver Program, this Agreement shall be deemed invalid.
Visa Status. The Company will file on your behalf and pay the cost of obtaining on an expedited basis an O-1 visa or other appropriate non-immigrant work visa. You will provide any and all assistance requested by the Company to expedite the filing of the O-1 or other appropriate non-immigrant work visa petition with the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service. Your employment with the Company will be conditioned upon your obtaining a valid work visa in a timely manner, as determined by the Company. The cost of reimbursements will be deemed imputed additional income to you to the extent required by applicable law.
Visa Status. Graduate students selected to participate in the Program are responsible for securing their visas, and neither UNT nor UT will assume or make statements regarding the eligibility of graduate students in regard to their visa. Each Institution will provide the necessary documentation required to obtain the appropriate visa. Graduate students who are unable to travel due to immigration issues will not be eligible either to begin or to continue the Program until the visa or immigration issues are resolved. Visa Status. You acknowledge and agree that it is a term of your employment with the Company that you will comply with the terms of Section 17 of the Employment Agreement.
Visa Status. The Company shall use its commercially reasonable efforts to assist the Executive in maintaining the material terms and conditions of his U.S. employment visa throughout the Term. Such efforts shall include reimbursing Executive for reasonable fees and costs (including attorneys' fees) associated with maintaining visa status, except in the event of a termination of employment by Executive without Good Reason or by the Company for Cause. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Company shall have no obligation to maintain the material terms and conditions of the visa status for Executive to the extent the loss of visa status results in whole or in part from any actions of Executive or any conditions of the visa which are in Executive's control and which Executive fails to satisfy. The Company will also provide commercially reasonable efforts to support Executive’s efforts to obtain a green card, including funding Executive’s legal expenses in connection with such efforts.
