Common use of Variable Account Clause in Contracts

Variable Account. The Variable Account is shown on the Allocation Options Contract Schedule. It consists of assets we have set aside and have kept separate from the rest of our assets and those of our other separate accounts. Income, gains, and losses, whether or not realized, from assets allocated to the Variable Account will be credited to or charged against such account without regard to other income, gains, and losses of the Company.
